Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Hi, I decided to sign up here so I can warn everyone that Citrades.com is a SCAM. I signed up with them and deposited $250. I had a hell of a time getting my account signed up. I opened a separate bank account at another bank just for trading. I only used this debit card to open an account with them. Wouldn't you know, someone stole my card number! This should have been my first warning. I decided to cancel that debit card and get a new one and trade with them anyways. I traded for about a month and a half, won some, lost most. I decided that I didn't want to do binary options trading anymore. I put in a withdraw for $230.

My withdraw stayed 'pending' for about a month even though I called several times and was told they would check on the situation. Finally got the withdraw 'approved' after about another month. Waited, waited, waited.......for my money to be deposited. NOTHING, of course. Finally got the supposed accountant on the phone and he said he would put the withdraw through that day but it could take about 2 weeks to get my money. It has been 2 months and NOTHING!!!! I called my bank, there are no pending deposits, even international ones. I am going to keep calling and posting on as many sites as possible. I hope this saves at least one person.

RUN FROM CITRADES!!! DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY TO THEM. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!

Oh, they also blocked me from the site so I can't even log into my account anymore. Please for the love of anything, do NOT use this trader.

First, what country are you in? There are different places to complain based on that.

Second, contact your bank. Ask to speak to the fraud department. See if they think a charge-back is a reasonable step.

Third, no matter what country you are in, file a complaint with econsumer.gov - Your site for cross-border complaints.

Fourth, don't forget to leave them a nice, shiny 1 star review at the FPA. Then file an FPA Traders Court case against them.

Hi Pharaoh,

I am in the US. I will definitely leave them a 1 star review and then file as many complaints as I can. I am going to try to call citrades.com tomorrow and see what they say about my account. I can no longer log into my account with them. When I pull up the page, there is never a login place. I don't know if they have blocked me or not. I appreciate the advice.

File complaints with IC3.gov and also get in touch with www.CFTC.gov

Drop over to a friend's house and see if you can find the login from there.

How did you deposit the money? If by credit/debit card, contact your issuing bank and tell the whole story to the fraud department. Ask if a chargeback is an option.

If you check this thread:

https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-forum/scam-alerts-folder/28706-citrades-com-scam.html

You'll see that Mr. Binary Answer said his legal department wouldn't let him post anymore. Then he came back and posted links to libel. Then he came back with a different username pretending to have suddenly discovered that the FPA makes up all the complaints to blackmail poor innocent companies that don't advertise.

CitiTrader (aks Citrades) seems incapable of upright and honest discourse. I'm hoping some of their real clients who are reporting real issues decide to file Traders Court cases soon. I'm going to enjoy voting GUILTY when that happens.

Sounds like a wonderful excuse to stop responding to any accusation

It reminds me someone else who tried to do it :)
