    AED is the ISO currency code for the United Arab Emirates Dirham. The symbol can be DH or Dhs. The dirham is divided into 100 fils. It is currently pegged to the United States dollar at about 1 USD to 3.67 AED.

    Currently circulating banknotes are 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 dirhams.
