    BDT is the ISO code for the Bangladeshi Taka. The symbol for the taka is Tk, or ৳ . The taka is divided into 100 poisha.

    Currently circulating coins include 10, 25 and 50 poisha as well as 1, 2, and 5 taka. Currently circulating banknotes are 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, and 1000 taka.
