    First off Dale, I am a "sucker" for straight forward broker's representative/IB posting honestly who they are and which broker he/she represent.

    There are quite a number of bucketshop broker's rep/IB posting here at the FPA pretending to be "extremely happy & satisfied" client and then post back as the bucketshop broker's rep/IB and reply to his/her own "extremely happy & satisfied client" post....I think you know my drift!

    I believe I have demo traded with DeltaStock some time back, but for some reason or other (which I cannot remember) I stopped short of going on a live account. But I will download DeltaStock trading platform again to re-start a demo account to find out what it was that kept me from going on a live account and, if demo trading does jolt back my memory, I will most certainly get back to you on that.
    As a matter of interest, I am still shopping around for the second/back-up broker to my main trading account as I don't feel comfortable parking all my investment funds in one single broker.

    Yes, bonus offers from brokers are like Venus fly traps for Newbies....and Newbies usually don't even read the terms & conditions on the bonus offer which in most cases simply amounted to additional leverage for the trader since the bonus cannot be withdrawn.

    As for your statement "....in order to claim a mere $20 bonus, is required to, within TWO WEEKS of opening their trading account and receiving such bonus, trade one (or two or three) STANDARD roundturn lots. NO PROBLEM if you've got a $10 000 account!!! But try to achieve that on a $100 or even a $1 000 account while at the same time managing risk??? Impossible!!!"... I have to disagree on that "Impossible!!!" statement as I have done that quite a number of times, on a few hundred dollars accounts, during my first year out as a newbie trader. But, trading like that will most certainly wipe out accounts in a hurry....as mine did many2 times.

    Ok, like I say I will re-try DeltaStock and will get back to you!

    ====================================

    Oopphs! I just went over to the "live discussion" dedicated to DeltaStock and there you were giving me a pretty detailed reply to my post.
    Ok, now I remembered why I didn't go live with DeltaStock was because of a lack of response to my post.

    Like I said, i will re-start a demo with Delta and see what happens from there.

    Hi Dale,

    Thanks for starting this thread. I've seen so many traders get trapped into bad situations by bad bonus terms. It's nice to see a broker rep come forward and post an honest assessment of the situation.

    If you want to avoid getting ripped off, set aside some time for reading.

    I have read "binary option" being discussed over at DonnaForex site, but it doesn't grip my interest.

    Dale, now I remember why I didn't go live with DeltaStock. It was because of the maximum 1:200 leverage....I know, I know....leverage is a double edge sword, etc, etc....BUT I do require minimum 1:400 leverage for my....eehhh...well, trading style!:p
    So unfortunately, for the immediate future I cannot be a client of DeltaStock.

    But all the best and do keep posting here, if only to highlight DeltaStock company's news and promo stuffs.
    Who knows, knowing myself, I might decide to jump onboard with a small few hundred capital and praise DeltaStock to sixth heavens for their excellent services and trading conditions;)

    =======================

    Oh yah, I know! That post above my first post belongs to a "satisfied client" of a two bits broker. They are crawling out of the woodwork and posting here at the FPA as though nobody notice their low level scams to attract new clients.
    Pathetic indeed and shows their deep desperation for new clients to stay alive!

    "You could cut your lot size by 50%."

    Yah, that's incredibly and irrevocably 100% true...BUT, it's not much "fun" trading with small lots.

    Will have to think about that as I don't want to tie-up my available funds in an account that I don't have "fun" trading:p

    Thanks Dale for your reply,
    but am pretty sure that you didn't notice my join date, anyway it was yesterday, am not an experienced woman in trading that's why i joined the forex army to get some information because as you said it's a " lion den " where small lions can learn and become lion king in trading.
    If you are representing any company believe now you gave a bad example of how who treats with clients, all i asked for is some brief which is mean OUTLINES so please next time give us some because if you don't have other job to do, we have... and Dale i get you attention yesterday to enter my profile and read my posts, it's an honor and i'm proud to have my first visitor from the first day :)
    and Mr. Pharaoh if you want me to get banned no problem but as i said most of us has other work to do more than Forex, trading and read your forum, as i said i'm a new member just trying to get merged
    Thanks

    Dale, looks like you & I (Pharaoh was pretty neutral) shot the wrong enemy:p

    I have already wrote my apologies over at Ola's "Hello" post and so will not repeat that here. Still, once again my apologies for shooting you Ola;)

    I only tried out a Demo account but did not have a Live account with DeltaStock because of their 1:200 leverage as my trading style requires at least a 1:400....and I didn't "stopped working" with DeltaStock because I don't work for them in the first place.

    Alright, I am sure Dale will get back here soon enough to answer all your questions....and more!
