Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

Hello delpiero.
Are you new to forex in general?

I've been playing around with a demo account for a few months now and im happy following the forex and reading about it. I would like to open a $250 account with a reputable broker so that I can begin!

Have you ever entered a demo contest account with real rewards?

yes, I have read multiple sites asking new users to stay away from binary options and other sites saying that is real but hard and some government websites telling users to be very careful..
my question is are all 100% binary brokers scam or is there any good reputable ones?

I can think of no method for a binary broker to use a real liquidity provider. That means any gains you make are losses to the broker's profits.

If you really want to jump into the pool with the sharks, re-read that CFTC article. If I recall correctly, mentions that there is 1 regulated binary broker in the USA.

That would be Nadex and Nadex is only open to US,Canada, and Mexican clients.

And as far as binary options being an online casino I agree and disagree, I think anyone who is a good interday spot trader would fair well with binary options but if you suck at spot trading and think you are going to jump into binary options and do better you're fooling yourself and one would probably loss their money even faster then trading spot.

There are advantages and disadvantages to trading binary options but the bottom line is one needs to know how to trade first before they can weigh those advantages and disadvantages. Personally I'm on the fence about whether or not binaries are for me, I can see the advantages when news trading being that so many brokers widen the spreads and stop clients out even before the price moves, that won't happen to you trading binaries (at least with Nadex). Also you don't need a lot of money to get started to start making a reasonable amount of money which is good for Americans who can only get 50/1 now thanks to the CFTC and you can hedge all your trades! No FIFO either! You have fully realized risk with all trades with no chance of being stopped out,so if you were using a 20 pip stop that you thought was nice and high above the previous highs and price went above that temporarily by one pip you wouldn't get stopped out with a binary. Plus price only has to be a fraction of a pip above or below the contract price to win that contract.

Bottom line is if you are a good trader and good a picking market direction on the daily bases I don't see any reason why you couldn't trade binaries successfully and use binaries' advantages to your advantage. And on the flip side of that if you suck at spot trading you'll probably suck at binary trading also.
