• Please try to select the correct prefix when making a new thread in this folder.

    Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

    Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

    Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

    Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

    Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
    Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

This is where IBs can be useful. Investigate brokers BEFORE sending clients to them. Yes, you'll have fewer brokers, but your clients will trust you and stay with you longer if you keep them out of the jaws of scammers.

Hope that Vimeo video comes back online as soon as possible.
 
I sent the IRONFX Exposed video to a friend who works in forex and he was a bit shocked regarding the lack of regulation in Cypress. I will stick with my Australian brokers for now.
 
After this situation, you can see that the regulator CySEC only protects brokers. They cheated several hundred million and received penalty only 330 000 €
 
The rules Cysec operates under permit a maximum fine of €350,000. Many people are waiting to see the first rulings from the Cyprus Financial Ombudsman on complaints. That will give some idea about how deep the corruption runs.

Freddie is planning a second video. It's going to be an hour long and promises interviews with inside sources. He's looking for crowdfunding...
