This parabolic and sudden increase in balance followed by a lengthy delay and lame excuse for withdrawal is a classic bucket shop manipulation. They create this illusion of profits to lock you in and delay the withdrawal in effort to expire or avoid the charge-back. A 3 month wait period for withdrawal due to "insurance reasons" while they rob your account is delirium caused by greed and possibly criminal mental illness.

From the information given in this case, I think that the huge increase in your account is not actually profits you made. They just want to give an illusion that you are making huge profits to encourage you to send more money to the account, and then you know what happens.

Ridiculous terms of withdrawal. They just should write "you can't take away your money no matter what" and that's it.

Do NOT ask for company recommendations in Scam Alerts threads or Traders Court Cases.
If someone did recommend a good company, that company's name would be permanently tied to this complaint about another company.

From what you say, the broker sounds like a crook. Probably his 3-month "insurance" delay is just to buy him time so he can scam some more money from other people. It might take him a week to cancel the check(if it was ever written) and send you a replacement check. I'm finding that anytime a vendor delays giving you a rapid refund he is crooked. An honest vendor will give a prompt refund! Good luck with this GUILTY broker!--feaisland55
