I want advice and solutions for stopping subscribers from cheating

Hi all
we are Eagle forex team - provide signals ok ? Always have a problem with our subscribers that all the subscribers want trying our signals before paid us -and we allow them to try out our signals first - but mostly of they - Come to us with new names and new phones new info to take our signals for free again and again and again -

any programs any software any methods can make us Identify people who received Our signals before - this mean who take the the opportunity to get our signals ??

That's quite sad. Hope things get better for you. here are some few tips.

1) Limit the trial strictly to 5 working days (1 week) or do a $1 trial to avoid people from taking advantage of the service or you can have a trial period but require CC or Paypal subscription, with a 7 day free period followed by automatic payment. You can then use this info as a first step to block repeat customers.

2) Assuming you offer signals via SMS and Email, make sure that trial subscribers sign up with their full details, email/Phone number/IP. You can then place a check or automatically set the form to prevent duplicates. (I think a good newsletter company would be able to set this up for you in their subscription form).

I'm sure there are many other ways, but the above should help you think in the right direction.

I am not an IT specialist, but to my knowledge there exists a way you can log the IP address of a subscriber and then NOT allow any other name from that same IP address to open another account, unless they can send you proof why.

Well as said above you can log/check the IP address of people who email you or visit your website and then check for duplicates. Although people coming to you through a proxy server in an organisation may all have the same IP. Also, it is possible to connect through VPN or similar to a proxy server anywhere on the planet and appear to be coming from there so not foolproof. But if you get a duplicate you could then investigate further

PS: Are your signals good enough to steal. Or is this just a cheap way for you to get some advertising))

The thing with blocking IP addresses is that it only works if the client has a static IP. Most ISPs today have dynamic IPs for they're customers meaning they are renewed on a regular basis.
I would go with quicksilvers suggestion.

Am sorry to hear people want to deceive you. I suppose people love getting things for free and that would include your signals.
it is a compliment to you really it sounds like you give very good signal as they are willing to cheat and lie to get them for free.

I wish i had some good ideas for you on how to protect yourself but i am not computer savi . So unfortunately i haven't got a clue what suggestions even to make to you. But i wish you every success in the future. Good Luck.

Besides IP address, maybe free trial works only for DEMO acct, so place this as a check that acct type=DEMO. Then after free trial PAY then register live acct within your site. This will deter these cheats!

SO these cheats get free signals right, so when placed on demo make sure they CANNOT place another EA into their acct. Coz this other EA maybe is a trade copier, then they place trade copier on DEMO, copy to live, get the $, then signon another name etc, get DEMO again and again, kept copying to live. So detect other EA, if there are DISABLE trading.

If you were an IT specialist, you would know that it's fairly simple to hide your true IP address and make the visible one appear to originate from anywhere you like (almost) in the world...

In response to the problem, selling anything on the internet is all about tweaking your pricing model. What you've got clearly isn't doing what you want it to, but there are many different ways of marketing your product and establishing and maintaining an ongoing relationship with your intended customers. On the plus side, if people keep coming back then you must be doing something right and that's half the battle. I haven't checked but have your signals been benchmarked on FPA?
