Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Problem Sky FX - Need a Serious Investigation " Total Scammers"

I am having an issue with a company
and also it is very suspicious, that they call you over and over again, and they try to convince you to open an account, is their strategy , they don't stop to call by phone to bore you.

Hi Des, I'm sorry to read that plus financials (obviously just a diff Co name) has done exactly the same to me. Have you tried disputing the transaction with your bank sometimes they can charge back your funds. They do not promise but if it is proven a fraud Co SkyFX will not challenge the chargeback.

The problems I had with this company are as followed :

* Harrassment For Money
* Misleading Information - Promised higher returns for deposits, when in fact they were used to save the account.
* Overinvesting - Taking too many trades and large volumes.
* False Promises - Encouraging me to trade by operation on a 700% margin level
* Trades Made In The Wrong Direction
* Poor Account Mangagement And Lack Of Advice - The account manager claimed he was leaving and someone would replace him and oversee my account and advise me what to do. Nobody bothered to get in touch. I tried to phone and no one answered resulting in my account collapsing.

News on 15th February, CySec has suspended SkyFX license. Hooray!
https://leaprate.com/2016/02/cysec-suspends-license-of-skyfxcapital-option/

I got to know this after I received dubious calls from 015-487-70708, claiming to be FXPrime or Forex Prime (I couldn't remember clearly, but the contact number is definitely right) and they are able to help recover my capital 'trapped' in SkyFX (implying SkyFX was in some sort of trouble!)

So do watch out.

Got many calls from someone who said his name was Dominic. He said he worked for Interglobal and his company helps everyone get there money back on the market. I have told him to stop calling but he still calls. He would not tell me how he got my number, but he did sound like somoene I spoke to at skyfx.

If he keeps it up, don't just ask the phone company about how to report him. Have some fun too.

Act interested, then tell him to hang on because there's someone at the door. Put down the phone and go for a nice long walk.

Buy a coach's whistle. Talk more and more quietly about how much you might want to invest. When you're sure he's listening closely, blow the whistle as loudly as you can. Quietly ask him if he heard that strange sound on the line. Repeat a few times before laughing and hanging up on him.

Ask him strange and highly irrelevant questions. What's the name of his 2nd grade teacher? (And was the teacher good or bad? How many classmates?) Does he prefer summer or winter? (Why does he prefer whichever one he picked?) How many windows does he have in his house? (Are the windows tinted? Do any have good views?) Make yourself a list of about 100 of these and keep dropping them into the conversation. Refuse to continue discussing investments until he answers.

Make up some slight more relevant questions. Ask him his opinions of whether Greece should exit the Eurozone, what will happen to the GBP if the UK exits the EU, etc. Again, make it plain that if he can't provide you with informative answers, you can't consider doing business with him.
