Default Pip cost calculation - 11-19-2008, 08:46 PM

Hi I'm Al from downunder and been trading only a short time. Could someone tell me when you open a position is the quoted PIP cost fixed at the amount quoted when the position is opened or does it change as the quoted amount changes? Also same with Rollover, is it fixed at the price when the position is opened or is it adjusted as Rollover price changes while the position is still open?

I don't trade a swap enabled account so I can't answer that one, but as for pip value, yes it may change depending on the market price as this kinda makes sense right?. However on pairs like eur/usd and gbp/usd for example, the pip value is usually fixed.

Rollover will fluctuate over time.
