We the members of the Scam Investigations Committee of the Forex Peace Army have deliberated on all the evidence available to us and have reached a conclusion. It is our opinion that...
The brokerage company known as PoltekFX and its manager, known only as Tim, have openly admitted that PoltekFX considers profitable trading to be evidence of cheating. Further, Tim has negotiated with the FPA in bad faith, with no intention of allowing a fair poll or any other chance for Amin El-Hakim and his trading group to recover funds that legitimately belong to them.
We have already found PoltekFX to be a scam due to failure to return money that legitimately belongs to Amin and his group.
The FPA’s fifth definition of scam is “other behavior that would be considered to be highly unethical by a reasonable individual.”
We now find that PoltekFX’s management openly admits to only wanting traders who do not make a profit. PoltekFX considers profitable trading to be a sign of cheating, even when the traders follow exact instructions regarding trading given to them by PoltekFX. This places PoltekFX into the most unethical category of bucketshop.
We find that Tim was never serious about any sort of fairness in negotiating with the FPA over options to get the previous scam finding lifted. His public attacks on Amin while pretending to negotiate prove this to us. His attempt to place his own poll at the FPA while pretending to negotiate proves this to us. We also consider these actions to be a serious violation of ethics.
Thus, we officially find that PoltekFx is a scam. We offer PoltekFX the chance to resolve this issue by removing any public attacks on Amin from the web, publicly apologizing to Amin and Ken for bad faith in negotiations, and publicly repudiating any policy that encourages viewing profitable traders as cheaters.
We thank Amin for his good faith efforts in this issue and his willingness to risk money owed to him and his group in a fair poll. He did this even though he clearly was in the right and was under no obligation to agree to a poll. We commend Ken for sticking with this issue and still trying hard to reach a fair settlement even after PoltekFX made it plain that they were only interested in rigging the outcome.
PoltexFX is hereby again blacklisted by the Forex Peace Army. We strongly urge anyone who has an account with them to withdraw all funds immediately and recommend against opening new accounts with them.
