On April 7, 2009, the CFTC released info about charging Capital Blu Management LLC, another company, and 3 of the managers with operating a fraudulent commodity pool. It seems that they managed to collect about $17 million dollars from about 100 investors.
In addition to losing $7 million trading, there are millions unaccounted for. Some money was diverted for private usage, including $40,000 for a two night party at a “gentlemen's” club. To hide their trading failures and theft of funds, false statements were provided to investors showing consistent monthly profits.
Thus, we officially find that Capital Blue is a scam. We offer CapitalBlu the chance to resolve this issue by returning all funds legitimately due to investors, including all profits shown by monthly statements issued by the company, and by proving their innocence before the CFTC.
