FPA member Xiuchun Yang encountered a problem with his FxOpen trading account. He could not close some highly profitable positions on his account, costing him over $70,000. Initial communications with FxOpen's finance department didn't resolve the issue. He then opened a public thread in the FPA's Scam Alerts Folder and filed a formal Scam Resolution Ticket.
FPA Investigator Ken noticed that Fxfrench, a representative of FxOpen, had recently joined our forums. He notified the AsstModerator, who sent an email message to FxOpen's rep. Ken also told Xiuchun Yang to be patient for another day or so, since FxOpen had a history be being very good at resolving this sort of issue once the proper people were notified.
After some exchanges in the FPA's forums, Xiuchun Yang's account was corrected and he received the profits that were lost while he was locked out of his trading platform.
We wish to thank FPA Investigations Lt. Ken and FPA's AsstModerator for putting Xiuchun Yang and Fxfrench in contact with each other. We commend FPA Private Xiuchun Yang for following all the proper procedures before filing a Scam Resolutions Ticket, for providing large amounts of documentation, and for being patient while contacts were arranged. We also commend Fxfrench for his work to fix both the technical issues that Xiuchun Yang encountered as well as for correcting the problems these issues caused.
Since all money legitimately owed to a trader has been returned, this issue is hereby declared fully resolved.
