I think we need a contest

We definitely need something to liven up the troops. So, does anyone have any ideas for a contest?

I can always steal some money out of the Assistant Moderator's paycheck to serve as a prize.

Nice try, Pharaoh. You starting out with a lead of over 200 posts wouldn't exactly be fair to the rest of the troops, would it?

OK, if you want something where I can;t win via the shear bulk of my rantings and ravings, I did a pseudo-contest a few months back:

The idea was to forecast the price of a currency pair at a specific time in the future. Since there wasn't a prize, it sadly didn't generate much interest.

When you threatened to steal money from AsstModerator's paycheck, does that mean you are talking about a cash prize?

Forecasting currency pricing sounds easy and doable.

Yes, we are talking about cash prizes. I don't have the exact figures yet (we don't actually pay the assistant moderator, so I need to check what it costs us to feed him for a couple of months) but think it would be a minimum of $100 (US) for 1st place.
