I guess as traders we have also lots of taxes and legal stuff to pay. Unfortunately most we win, most we have to pay. If any of you have some experience about it, it would be useful, also to understand which Ernest is saying. Kevin M

it seems the only way testing this important broker feature is asking and trying to contact them while trading, especially about something that important as withdrawing money and profits! They offer also online support, easy to test then!

did you get some experience contacting them? It is a good tip but I don’t know if I’d have time every time when I need something particular. Anyway let us know how it worked

I’ve been checking my broker in that way and I got good results. Actually I’m using a demo from Tradeviewforex, soon I’ll start with a live account

Pharaoh,

If it's not too much of a hassle, could you recommend some brokers to me with the following requirements?

1. easy to withdraw
2. based in and regulated in USA
3. accepts accounts in USA
4. operates micro-account
5. doesn't try to play the charts against me

I'd really appreciate it, thanks in advance!

Ah, to avoid advertising, could you send them to kyeung444@yahoo.com

Its #5 that causes the most problems.

I use MBT though I dont think they offer "micro" accounts- They do offer "mini" type accounts. They will soon have an MT4 platform(I hope) as well. Only $400. to test drive their company and withdraws are by chk(never more than 7 days from request to hand).Good luck.

*sigh* yeah, it's number 5 that really bothers me. Is there a countermeasure to them playing the charts?

Cross check them against live and demo feeds from other brokers. That will give you some small defense against manipulation, or at least will tell you when it is happening.

Thanks guys, I decided to open up a minimum account with both MBT and Forex.com

Been cross-checking their charts with the one from investorguide.com which seems to be pretty impartial. Either they're ok people or my account's so small they don't think it's worth their time to mess with.

what do you think of the technical analysis and suggestions they give? worth my while or worked against me?
