I've found the perfect broker for SNW!!!

Minimum slippage, tight spreads during news events, and I get filled every time. Let's all open accounts there!

The name of the brokerage is . . .

You didn't really think I'd found such a perfect brokerage, did you? If so, you didn't really think I'd be foolish enough to post it where thousands of traders could see it, did you?

Think about this very carefully for a moment.

If a few people use SNW with a broker, that broker may not notice. If hundreds of people start using SNW with the same broker all the time, the broker WILL notice. If the broker is a marker maker, this will cost the broker a LOT of money. Suddenly, SNW won't work with that broker. The broker can easily start reversing trades, cancel your account, lock out trades at news time, widen spreads an newstime to levels that make profitable newstrading impractical, give your newstime orders massive slippage, or some combination of these. In any event, too many people using SNW on the same bucketshop will be the end of using SNW with that broker.

You can use an account with an ECN broker (MBT, or places with REAL interbank platforms), but even then, you won't ever get perfect fills every time. MBT is definitely far from perfect. The brokers that offer the true interbank platforms usually require minimum account sizes anywhere from $25,000 up to $100,000 (and still won't be perfect). Maybe this works for you, but it's out of my price range.

Your best option is to work with a small group, perhaps 3 to 5 people. Test SNW against different brokers and find two or three that work pretty well. Then, you can keep it secret and keep making money, or you can post about it here and see how quickly it stops working.

Any wagers on how many "I hate you" messages I get for posting this?

This is the thing: you already know those 3 to 5 people. I do not. You know that group, I do not. May I be added to an existing group that you know of, please? I am sure those people have been using any or some brokers succesfully. As I said, I want to use the SNW service, but, why would I pay $300 per month for a service that cannot be used? It just makes no sense, does it?

Sadly, my pathetically delayed internet connection keeps me from getting to play with SNW, so I don't have a group. Hang around the forums and sooner or later you'll catch a few people who get SNW and then ask about what broker to use. Hook up with some of those and you've got a team.

May I have the contact information of those who provided testimonials. I guess they have a broker who works for them?
