As the markets put the final touches to the end of the week, quadruple witching was a key role in the market activity. Frequent whip action wreaked havoc on traders nerves as they struggled during the afternoon session, to cash in on some chips. The morning session faired rather well, however. Traders were relieved to lay the week to rest at the closing bell.

Obama Administration released Tuesday, they were going to lend 5.9 billion dollars to Ford Motor Co. and 2.1 billion to Nissan Motor Co. in an effort to produce next generation fuel efficient cars. Also in order for the government to help steer these companies in the right direction it will be a government/industry partnership.

Dow Jones Industrial (DOW) reached triple digit gains today, with the Nasdaq (INDU), and the S&P 500 (INX)also posting gains in what seemed to be an exciting day for traders. These recent rallies have eased the fears of some investors, but others are still reluctant, and say it's going to take a lot more than that to make them feel that confidence again since the big crash in '08.
