Default Trade results so fake that they are almost funny - 06-09-2009, 06:53 PM

Forex companies love to exaggerate the success of their products. A lot of them include what they claim are live trading statements from happy customers. In this case, the results are so incredibly fake that they are almost funny.

FPA member PiPsAddict filed a scam complaint against TrendForex20.com, since there were trade results shown on one of their advertising pages that showed trades opening and closing at impossible prices. FPA Investigator Gerard checked many of the trades and found that PiPsAddict was correct.

Prices were so incredibly far from the true prices on the days the trade took place that we can see no possibility of this being an error. Someone either faked the trades entirely or someone took an old trading statement and redid the dates. Either way, we find this to be completely unethical.

We thank FPA member PiPsAddict for checking the advertisement so closely and bringing this to our attention. We thank FPA Investigator Gerard for re-checking some of the trades and providing screenshots.

Attached is a screenshot of the webpage with the fake trades. It was at www.trendforex20.com/documentation.htm yesterday, but has been removed. There is also a closeup of the faked trade results. The last two attachments show the first and last trades from the faked trade results. Vertical lines are placed on daily candles the day before and after the trade allegedly opened and closed. A horizontal line is placed at the closing price claimed by Trend Forex Systems 2.0.

We have no idea how well the TrendForex20 trading system works. We do recommend against buying anything from a company that resorts to such dishonest advertising.

I think the Scam Committee should give them a break. They were only off by six or seven hundred pips.

Pharaoh, sorry if I disagree.

Or you are honest or you are not. It is not that you are 'almost' honest. And if you are not, I am not doing business with you.
So if that statement has a number (just one) that is fake, those people are scams. Period.

BTW, 600 pips, would you give me those pips, maybe every month, please?

Dude, sarcasm is a legitimate form of humour in the Western World. Take it easy.

Remind me to request that the forum admins add "This is a Joke!!!" to the list of smilies available.

P.S. Epiphany, sarcasm also works on my Chinese friends, but usually just takes a moment or two longer. I'm not sure if that's a cultural thing or if it just takes a few seconds for them to translate it.

Thank you for posting this! I have received about a million emails on this product, how they're crashing servers, etc. with all the response. What bothers me about a lot of these products is they make it sound as if it's going to trade FOR you so you don't have to sit in front of the screen for the rest of your life.

If anyone knows of a good book or course, I would really like to learn more than support/resistance/trend (of which I have some knowledge). Or a robot that actually does work :-) I'll probably get in heck from someone here for mentioning robot, but hey, I'm new, I deserve a tongue lashing
