I voted yes, but it was actually a rather "gray" area.

The problem was that CMSForex has a very timely system when you're running demos, but their "live" system is HORRIBLE! My "demo" trades would consistently take just a few seconds to fill, but the "live" trades would take sometimes 10-12 seconds! It was totally unpredictable. I'd miss most of the quick moves that would go 50 or more pips in a few seconds.

I filed a complaint, and of course someone "investigated" it. His response was that they don't promise timely trades. Period.

If I were a paranoid person, I'd swear they were monitoring my actions. I noticed that after most of these quick swings, the chart would turn around and recover most of its movement by at least 50%. After I noticed this happen enough times, I waited to place an order until the spike was over and it started to retract, THEN place the order. Each time I did this, it somehow MAGICALLY turned around and started heading the other way!

This was painful to watch. I got closed out on a margin call - about 10 pips before it really DID peak and then turn around and retrace 150 pips. If I could have held out for those 10 more pips, I would have made a decent 20 pip profit instead of losing 120 pips or so.

At that moment, I suddenly understood what it meant to have enough available funds in the account to handle 20-30 times your trades.

    Angry Scam

    Interbankfx
Got me twice Once they changed my leverage on me with out telling me
from 200:1 to 100:1 costing me about 250,000 had open 280 standard lots.
They did not credit my account.
Second time got me for about 110,000 gbp/usd broke out and my trade at
that point was up about 20,000 when I tried to close the position. Clicked
the button many many times and they kept giving me requotes. Even tried to put in and order 20 pips ahead and got the same requotes or order error.
Called the deal desk and was told that they didn't have any one there that could close any trades. The next day after looking at the log I had hit my button 37 times to close and of those times only once did the price change for a legitimate requote .
They did not credit my account.
Lucky they were not in arms reach of me.
Bad things happen for a lot less money.
And I would have felt a lot better if they would have used a gun.

    Default Fxcm

I've been working with FXCM for almost a year without complains, but last week I was stopped out in two (Long) trades at 2.0410 GBP/USD at 16:05 EST time. My price charts only reached 2.0430 at that moment so I really don't know what to think. I'm waiting for a response from FXCM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If some knows what to do in this case please let me know.

I started Forex by taking a local course and the course providers arranged an account for me with a Swiss Broker - FXCSC (Foreign Exchange Clearing & Settlement Co.) I demoed with them for several months and then prior to funding my account I emailed several times asking for some policy clarifications. Funny thing was I kept getting responses in perfect English - not what I expected from Switzerland. Their site stated they had been in business for 27 years but a Google search showed absolutely nothing. On their website they had a links page which listed several Swiss governing bodies suggesting that they were members. I contacted the 3 organizations and was told FXCSC weren't members in any of them. So I dug a little deeper and found the broker address was in a Swiss building that provided "virtual offices". I emailed them and asked why they were in a virtual office building and to advise me what governing bodies they were members of. They replied that they weren't members with anyone but that they had made an application with one, and that it didn't matter because they were transfering all their accounts to their parent company. I emailed 3 times asking who and where that parent company was and never received a reply. Even though I had opened an account I never did fund it. From further research I think the parent company may be FXLQ (Forex Liquidity LLC) and they may have been pulling back funds to the US to meet the higher NFA requirements. Last week I noticed the FXCSC website was and continues to be "Under Construction". So even though I wasn't ripped off financially, I was certainly mislead.

I did have a problem with forex-swiss, they stole my money, they take my stops when the market no was at that levels, they take 5, 10, 30 seconds to fill your order at different price that you ask. At the end, i leave my account without activity for a couple off month with usd$18.xx of balance, and some day i did logged in to see it and it appear in cero, with a fee of USD$18.xx for close the account. They stole from my account USD$2.000.oo.

So far I have been ok with InterbankFX. Although I only have a small account and I am just a little fart of a blip on their radar. My suggestion, research the hell out of the broker you are about to give your money to. If they promise stuff to good to be true or spreads that are to good to believe…run. I really appreciate all you bastards and will do what I can if called upon to get a bastards money back for I to am a bastard. Research people... you are about to give your money into someone else’s hands and out of yours. Know who you are giving your money to.

I have over 100K at 1world and they took it away from me. They claim that I took advantage of them and claim they have the right to remove/reverse trades.

I am not the only one they have scammed. If you would go over to GMT forum, many members got money locked away in there as well.

I have filed a complaint with NFA but it appears that NFA is nothing more a "shoulder to cry on".

I really like to see a government agency to police Brokers and penalize them for any wrongdoings. As is, NFA is useless. I hope that what we have here would eventually snowball into a force that will effectively patrol the brokers.

I would have to say that misleading contracts are the main reasons that a lot of people feel they have been burnt
[Me being one of many to have made that very mistake!]
    HOWEVER!
I also beleive that there is unknown amount of brokers that mislead clients
purposely. With this in mind READ you contracts with great care if you can't understand it I would keep shopping untill I found a Brokers contract that is at the very least within your scope of knowledge:
Because if it looks & walks like a duck quacks like a duck it must be a DUCK !
