Default Trading in the Zone - Mark Douglas - 08-12-2008, 12:55 AM

It appears whoever told me they sold me rights to this book did an illegal act and actually was never able to do what they said because the only one who owns rights to this publication is Mark Douglas and his publication company Penguin Publishin. I therefore cannot and could not ever sell this book. Im am sorry for any confusion but I will not be offering this book for sale. Sorry to anyone who was interested but I cannot sell this to anyone. Sorry

However I still advise anyone who is interested in learning anything about themselves in the forex market to go get a copy of "Trading in the Zone" By the Great Mark Douglas. It is a great read and a must own.

Thank you for removing the posting, Freed.

I would like to note that Mr. Webb, a legal rep from MarkDouglas.com is a very rude and umprofessional person. He wrote a letter complaining about this posting this morning, but neglected to mention that there never was a legal electronic version of this book. Someone on the forums team wrote back, explaining that most of the time, people can resell a single copy of an ebook if they bought it from the publisher.

He then wrote back, finally explained that there had never been an e-version of this book, and even accused the FPA of being the ones selling it. Had he explained the situation calmly and correctly the first time, the post would have been taken down much sooner. His poor attitude caused it to be here longer.

I hope that Mark Douglas reconsiders his choice of legal representation.

As per the post stuck at the top of this section does note that sellers are responsible for checking to make sure that can legally sell electronic items. Some items of this sort, even when purchased directly from the publisher, have licensing limitations.

Thanks for your reply Asstmoderator. I would appreciate any advise you can lend to me. I was just mis informed about the licensing of the product. I too hope he reconsiders. Thanks for doing a good job here on the forum, makes me want to participate more. If you have anything you would like to contact me with please do so on here or at . Thanks.

Freed,

I wouldn't worry about it. When you found out that the copy you had was a copyright violation, you withdrew it. That's all any reasonable person would be expected to do under the circumstances. You didn't create it. When you found out it was illegal, you didn't sell it. There's no rational grounds for him to bother you any more.

If the legal rep (not really a lawyer) decides to harass you any further, please let the FPA know about it immediately. He already make some empty theats against the FPA that no real lawyer would ever say. His messages displayed a lack of understanding of basic legal concepts.

Think of him as one of those loud, but tiny little bug-eyed dogs. They are very startling at first, but are not really anything to worry about.
