I agree with Vitoramire. I followed Daniel Choi on instagram for a very long time and he introduced his Copy Trading Program called FXICON. I was one of many that paid the $100 to reserve a spot in the program. My opening account was $2000 and after a few weeks, not even a month, my balance was less than $200. I contacted them throughout the process and ensured me that the trades were good. The one thing that did not make sense to me was they kept adding positions to losing trades rather than setting a stop loss to prevent loss in capital.
I understand this was the risk getting involved in this business but I did speak with a representative from FXICON and he did mention that Daniel Choi was reckless with the smaller accounts. I don't know how many accounts were wiped out but I was told there were many.
The one thing I took away from this experience is that I will only trust myself and no one else. I knew what I was doing and had a good strategy trading the markets but got greedy and thought someone else could make that money for me while I sit back and watch. I hope no one else gets scammed by Daniel Choi and maybe that won't happen again as I have looked up the domain and it does not exist anymore.
