PipCop.com Review

I am really glad to have stumbled upon FPA. As I am relatively new to EA, I find PipCop's review useful. The EA testings and reviews help me to sieve the long list of EAs marketed.

This is the perfect way to evaluate any EA (strategy). Backtesting is one thing, but forward testing tells you robustness.

Robustness = Survivability.

So this is the perfect site to see where each EA is, at a glance.

I feel lucky to have stumbled across this site. If you seriously think about using EAs, Pip Cop is a must.

These are good people who perform very honest reviews for the benefit of the trading public. I cannot thank them enough for all their hard working test and sharing them for free. This one should be on everyone's list of monthly visits.

A top notch site. This site reviews not only commercial EA's and is not primarily driven by advertising (like forex-robots.com). THis site is a must for anyone considering autotrading using a Metatrader expert advisor (EA).

I find this to be a very helpful site with all the robots that they review. Easy to navigate easy to understand for a new trader such as myself. Hopefully they keep up the good work. Had I seen this site before I bought one of Don Steinitz robots I would Have saved myself some money.

I am the owner of PipCop.com and hope people will find the reviews done on my site are more comprehensive, more factual, more useful, and more honest than other review sites.

While many other sites have reviews, they are often thinly veiled affiliate program links. PipCop.com simply takes an EA, puts it on a demo account, and lets it run. If it performs well over 3-4 months, then I put the EA on a live account.

All EAs follow strict criteria for ratings, but since all statements are posted you can make your own decisions based on real data.

Many members rave about the site, so I hope you will enjoy it as well.

PipCop has added a second server this week. They can now run 16 EA's at once. Many of these EA's are free from the MQL4 code base.

They include full MetaTrader details showing every trade taken, and an excellent disscusion board. Many of us are running the same EA's simultaneously and comparing results.

As well they have just started a real money testing on the Demark Lines EA, a free EA from the code base. Their rules are that an EA has to last three months on a demo before real money is used. EA's that dont perform, or lose money, are exiled to a seperate list. The authors/creators can then edit the EA and resubmit it. The Demark showed a profit of about 50% after the 90 day period on the demo account.

This is the best EA testing site I have seen.

I started this thread on the software forum, but it is really a testing forum that specializes in MT4 EA's. PipCop has the most complete and detailed testing that I have seen. They test both commercial EA's, as well as free EA's. There is an initial 90 day test period on a 5K demo account. If the EA survives this it is then ready for testing with real money.

The current #1 robot, the Demark Lines EA and companion indicator, are both available for free. This robot has been running for 3 months, with a profit of $1900, on a starting account of $5000. I believe they plan on starting this on a real money account soon.

This robot runs on the popular Demark Lines indicator. It opens 4 positions at once, with progresive stop loss and profit tagets. It has faired very well through the recent market turmoil.

I recently downloaded this robot and indicator with no problem. I will try running some tests on it and possibly start a thread for it. However, I refuse to run any more robots 24 hrs a day on my personal laptop. It has caused too many problems, near crashes, and slow responce times.

I will be looking into VPN services next. I will report on those as I have time.

New robot review site. Only been running 3 months.

Great trade detail. Each individual trade is itemized. All open p/l is shown.

Currently running 8 EA's, with reviews on 9 more that have failed.

Only two have succesfully made it over two months on demo accounts. The plan is to trade a demo account first and those that can prove themselves will be traded on a real money account.
