I've been using the 1-Hour alerts since late May. June and July were TOTALLY AWESOME!!! In August I lost some money, in September I made it all back and more, October so far has been great. Plus, the service is easy to use since he sends you an email for each alert. I'll probably quit my job and go full-time with this in a few more months.

Malteser & Rich, that's the first time anyone ever accused me of giving them too MUCH for their money :-). Most days you will get more signals than you can handle. Once you've got as many trades on as you can deal with just ignore the new ones. Not rocket science.
As to Rich's comment about sleeping through the good trades: The best time to trade is the European morning, which is the middle of the night in Arizona. The second best time to trade is US business hours, when most folks are at work. That's the nature of the forex market, it has nothing to do with my signals or anyone else's. Most west coast professional traders, myself included, stay up all night to trade and sleep during the day.

Ok. After a slow start we started recieving the minute signals. I have the same thoughts that there are way too many signals to trade. However not all of them are winning signals there have been a few good ones in there. I think that this system is too much of a full on take what you can approach and hope for the best.
However he is a very nice guy to deal with and did answer my question etc though.

Nice guy, answers all questions, cheap price but frankly, there is no way to utilize the signals. You are just overwhelmed with signals, even on the 4 hour signals because each bar is a new 4 hour bar. Its basically a computer spitting out signal after signal so you could miss all the winners while you sleep and catch all the losers. In theory, if you were a robot and trading them all, maybe it does work but in practicality, it doesnt work. In fact, I'm pretty sure he sells the signals but doesnt trade them himself. Save your money.

I get a lot of requests to post trading results, so here you are:

These are backtesting results for the 10-pip SuperScalper from April 1, 2009 to April 9, 2009.

I'm only including the results summaries and equity and profit graphs here because some of the transaction logs are hundreds of lines. If you want one of the transaction logs contact me and I will email it to you.

Here is a translated-by-google post from a German language web site, Tom_Next.com.

The points I want to make are:

1. This is a total newbie, never traded before, who was in the black after 3 weeks following my alerts. That's very very good. 90% of new traders lose their money and quit. The fact that he made money so quickly is a tribute to him, and to my alerts.

2. He was trading during the European night, the worst time of the day to trade, and still did well. And he was using my 5-Minute version, which is not recommended for beginners.

3. He reports a 70% (7 out of 10) success rate. That's phenomenally good! The best traders in the world never do better than 80%, and they rarely stay at 80% for long.

4. Even at 70% success he doesn't think my alerts are worth the money. I realize Germans expect perfection, that's why they make the best cars, but gimme a break! Nothing in trading is 100%, 70% success is very, very good indeed.

5. He thinks it's too much work to have to enter trades manually. Sorry, I can't be too sympathetic to that one. And I think his point about not having a manual is due to not being able to read English (although his English is certainly better than my German).

Anyway, here's the translated-by-google post:

So, now for me a little experience report:

As already noted, this is not a "Fire & Forget" - system. So before sitting his trades in mind (I think he means you have to follow the trades after you enter them, which I agree with - MK). If you do this and the initial signals something, they are certainly very useful and valuable.

My demo account, I have slightly in the black can. At length, however, it is exhausting, with every mail the data by hand into the MT4 to take over (Sorry, I'm not sympathetic to that one at all -MK). But the only way you can also "heads" to use.

This system is aimed primarily at the experienced Daytrader, or people who at least in the morning hours, midday trade, and several screens, and the system as a further incentive recommend.

Only at night to trade, is very difficult because the number of hits is worse than the morning.

I have noticed that violent market movements in very many signals at once come. Then you have to decide which signals you prosecuted (actually you should decide beforehand which pairs you are going to trade -MK).

The indication that a machine can decide faster than humans, although it is true, but it also needs a sophisticated system to ensure the timely signals to take note of (the best Mailprototokoll IMAP) - besides that, the order anyway must still enter, along with SL and TP, or with their own SL / TP.

For a pure indicator is the signal to 99.95 $ / month is too expensive, I think. This is our own effort, you still have the part, too high. Smarter, it would be the signal to sell, to put it on your own computer to be able to run, it may be on "his own" currency pairs specialize where you can better understand the market movements can be estimated. (I agree, you should focus on a few pairs, not try to trade everything -MK).

Alternative would also be a kind of EA conceivable that the signal gets from the Internet, but you adjust it, that before any trade is a confirmation Complete (it would also be a possible subscription)

The path of the email to run on MT4 is simply too long for signals in such a short time window. (Subscribers must set their email browsers to check for new emails at least once a minute. That's covered in the instructions when you subscribe. Every single instance of transmission delays that we have encountered so far has turned out to be because the subscriber's email browser was only checking once every 30 minutes -MK)

For the target group is the signal certainly interesting for hobby and novice traders and professional traders in addition to rather not.

I would also like that here by Mr. Knee and Heinz instructions on the website would have been. With the information from the website you do not even know that you have a Mail Service / Service Group and also subscribed to the target audience is unclear. Also, I wanted a kind of manual, for example, the IMAP setup describes. The access to the group goes, but not using RSS readers, such as NOT to closed groups can access.

Here is a Scala 1 to 10 (1 = very poor, 10 = very good)

Success rate: 7
Manageability: 3
Value for money: 3
Frequency of the signals: 9
"Manual": 3

5-MinuteForex.com launches 15-Minute Alerts for Forex traders.

http://www.5-MinuteForex.com

5-MinuteForex.com has launched its second series of real-time forex trade alerts. This version is based on 15-Minute data, rather than 5-Minute data like the first series.

The original 5-Minute alerts are intended for traders with extensive experience and a lot of confidence in their trading skills. The 15-Minute version produces a lot fewer alerts and should be easier to trade for those with less experience.

Both versions monitor all 25 tradeable pairs and generates alerts 24 hours a day for the 5 days a week that the forex market is open. Both monitor price action, the 20-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and the Moving Average Convergence-Divergence (MACD). When that combination signals a trade opportunity 5-MinuteForex sends an email alert to each subscriber. The alert arrives in the subscriber

5-MinuteForex provides real-time forex trade alerts based on short-term bursts of momentum. It provides 100 to 200 alerts every trading day. If you love short-term momentum trading but hate being glued to a computer screen for hours on end, 5-MinuteForex is the answer you've been waiting for. It takes the tediousness out of trading but leaves you all the fun and excitement (and profits).
