I am updating my previous review that I submitted just about an hour ago. I had previously said CitiFX Pro only had 4 currency pairs to trade with. But I've just now restarted my computer and it now shows MANY more pairs to trade.

I don't know why they made it so we have to restart our computers before seeing the other pairs. I've never had this issue with any other MT4 broker before. But anyways, I am just reporting back to let everyone know that CitiFX Pro does have more than 4 pairs to trade with after all.

2014-06-21 No Rating I've just now opened a MT4 demo account with them and see they only have 4 currency pairs (eur/usd, usd/jpy, aud/usd, gbp/usd). I then went to "File" and then "New Chart" with the expectation of finding more currency pairs to choose from. However there are NO more pairs to choose from!

Am I the only one with a demo account of only 4 possible pairs to choose from? I don't see anyone else here that has mentioned it. I find it very odd they only have 4 pairs to trade with.

I liked trading with Citifxpro at the beginning, but had problems when I tried to withdrawal my money- happened more that once. After speaking with their support it was fixed but it doesnt sound normal that everytime I had to call them for MY money.

I traded with CitiFXpro until few months ago and i do not recommend trading with them because i went through hell until i was able to withrawl my money - it was such a frausrating experience. here is what i think of them.
Pros:
-Opening the live account went smoothly and fast without any issues.
-Live chat and phone support was ok.
Cons:
- Wire transfer deposits are funded to your account in 30-60 days..
- Bad spreads for most of the currency pairs.

I would like to hear from Don Steinitz to determine whether he was able to turn 10,000 to 1 million in retail trading? He claimed he was going to open an account with this broker and do that in a review he left on 2012-02-01.

Technnical Issues:
1) Could not open buy/sell trades intially on MT4. Had to contact by email/phone to fix the issue.
2)VPS changed the default MT4 server by itself causing stoppage of expert advisor.
3) 30 pips slippage on 2 trades on the same day. Bad exeuction.
4) Took out my trade when price was no where near my stop loss.

Learnt my lesson don't be just fooled by the name. Test with smaller amount to see the execution.

I've been trading on Citi's new MT4 (released a few days ago in early August 2013), and I am very pleased with the platform. Execution is fast, no requotes, and they even let you hedge! I've also found their customer support to be extremely valuable, really living up to the Citi name. The deposit minimum is a little high, but it's worth it.

I have multiple MT4 accounts with Citi. I was going to drop them but they worked with me to correct slippage and latency problems. I have been pleased with the results. Executions are fast, feed is great, and the MT4 server is stable. Never had a requote, off quote error, dropped connection, or anything like I see on other brokers. The service has also been excellent. The spreads are a little higher than some others, but competitive and they will work with you on them as your account grows. Thumbs up here for Citi.

I have experience trading with them on all platforms.
Of course, you actually trade with Saxo Bank that has a very bad reputation in this business!
Name "Citi" actually does not change anything, support works even much worse than in the SaxoBank!
All transactions that you conduct in MT4 are later corrected the prices always the worse for the client side, in any market!
A broker from the past!

To Mr Leonard:

News flash! That's what brokers are supposed to do when lookintg at a new client. Wake up!

This is why so many testimonials can't be taken seriously. I'm opening an account tonight with them and soon to do some spanking. I'll turn $10K into $1Mil probably within 1-2 years.

Poor customer service - They are quite strict on criteria for accepting clients. They want to know net worth, trading experience, annual income etc. We filed several documents and they could not even call us back.
