I paid $1200.00 for a 1 year subscription service and there have been no trades for two months now. The owner does not respond to emails and according to other traders does not respond to refund request. I disputed the charges with my credit card company and so far they have refunded my money and say it is still under review and the owner has to prove the charges are valid. So there is probably time for you to dispute charges if you are in the same situation as me.

2015-08-10 5Star I paid for a 12 month service contract and ColliseumFX has already made me more money than the cost of my annual contract cost. Thank You and I look forward to many more great trades.

2015-06-08 5Star Have been with ColiseumFX for about a month now and have 12% profit and very low DD and I could not be happier as they deliver exactly what they promise.

Since my previous good review I have suffered the same as all the others. Wiped out my account completely. So that I lost all winnings plus the $800 fee for the service. The odd thing is on SimpleTrader it shows that he is still trading, but only one of them has come through to my account, and if you check each day the trades only appear some days later. Simple Trader aren't very helpful, they just say contact Coliseum, well if only he answered....

2015-07-28 I haven't heard much since I bought a 6 month subscription. He did say he was awaiting the Greek outcome though. There has only been one trade, but the success of that single trade covered my 6 month subscription. Up to now (3 months subscription) I am well in profit so I can't really complain. Yes, I wish he was a little more communicative, but he does seem to have an edge.

Please do not use coliseum, coliseumfx or fxcoliseum. He is a scammer. Paid for 6 months subscription and only received 3 mths. Last trade wiped out account. He does not communicate and I believe has set up a new site fxcoliseum.com
avoid at all costs

I'm in the same boat as most of you. I use the simpletrader service however, and ColiseumFx does not have my password etc. I had some wild swings too last month (Sept 2015) and did experience drawdown. One basket had a loss, but he put a trade on after that got back most of the loss (I closed it manually myself). However, the signal is showing "Not Connected' and has been offline for 167 hours. In the past he has been offline for a week and then sends out an email saying that he has been busy for some reason. I have been lucky with him and have made a profit each month I've been with him. Even Sept 2015 was overall profitable. BUT I'm getting concerned too with the lack of communication and the fact that his website is down. (I check it daily). Also, there are no independent MyFXBook stats I can follow. I too am going to send him an email, and I will update this forum as to whether or not I get a response. I paid upfront for a 6-month subscription until December, which was not cheap.

Review: For what it's worth I've been with ColiseumFx for about 4 months now. I have consistently made a profit with his signal each month. He was going to stop using Simpletrader as the signal software as he was having problems with it and wanted to solely manage through a MAM. However, he came back and still offered a signal service. Personally I prefer the signal service as I run a couple of other signals at the same time. Please keep in mind that there was not too much trading activity from him due to the Greek fiasco. Most of the other signals I follow had minimal trades during this time also. He had a NZDCAD trade on last week that closed out at a profit and as of writing has both a NZDCAD and GPDCAD trade open. I sent him a few emails and he didn't reply to all of them but at the same time he was saying that he was too busy to reply. He also has Skype, but I haven't used it yet. I'm happy with his trading and paid for 6 months.

2015-04-08 5Star I've been trading with Coliseum Fx for about 2 months now. I've been happy with his trading and the returns have been great. I haven't experienced any troubling DD. His communication is top notch. Monthly updates and easy to contact. Happy Customer.

I've invested in Coliseumfx after doing some research thru' internet and mostly comments received by investors are good & positive reviews. However, this is not the truth!! The ugly truth is that my account was being wiped out in less than 3 weeks time by Colisieumfx and I lost USD 27K in total. He is not responsive to investors emails as in totally ignore your emails. Not only that, he will continues to hold on to losing trades until your account has blown out.
I can only blame myself for not believing all others negative reviews.
This company is a one-man show, the person behind is a coward and he is capable of pushing all the responsibility and ignoring emails when things happened.
He is not a reliable person/company. Many investors are waiting for him to make refund from him since months ago. Please do not risk your money in Coliseumfx, cos' you gonna lose all your life’s earnings. You are just a bait and he is waiting to take your money and turn it into a profit for himself.
The best advice I can give is don’t trust anyone whose reputation you cannot validate, website using a service to hide his identity http://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/coliseumfx.com and whose association is not legitimately tied to the actual forex market. This is especially important when selecting your forex signal provider.
The website has been newly registered with a short life expectancy, which follows the pattern used by many fraudulent and fake selling websites. Please be vigilant and take extra care before using his service.
Don't let your hard earned dollars become an easy profit for Coliseumfx.
As from 24 Sept 2015, his scam website was down and he had disappeared, should be hiding behind and planning to set up new website with new name to scam people again. Be aware of this scammer.

Issue escalated to Traders Court Benny Tay vs coliseumfx.com | GUILTY
I have been with Coliseumfx for few months since 1st of March, enjoying few months of profit.
I would say that he used to be a very responsive guy and will reply to my email promptly but not after 23/6/15.
On 23/6/15 he informed us that he is not going to provide trade copier signal on Simpletrader platform as Simpletrader has caused many issues since he's been with them and claimed that he paid them too much for the level of support they are providing.

According to previous post by Ulric, (please see below comments) His newest exploit is cheating people into purchasing 6 or 12 months subscription or let him manage account asking for 25% profit split depending on account size.

I choose to go for the manage account option on 25/6/15, but he did not take any trade after that until 14/8/15.
I received an email on 4/8/15 saying that he ended up taking few weeks off for traveling.
So when he stated to place a trade on 14/8/15 it was quite smooth till 24/8/15 ( just one week plus of managed account) he place a buy trade on NZD/CAD and 5 more recovery trades on loosing positions, (please see below)

1) Open time 08.24.2015 13:38 Close time 08.24.2015 16:11 NZDCAD Buy 0.48 0.84243 0.88493 0.86991 0.84203 -278.8 -1010.95 2h 32m -10.62%

3) Open time 08.24.2015 16:05 Close time 08.24.2015 16:11 NZDCAD Buy 0.72 0.83979 - 0.86734 0.84296 -243.8 -1326.61 6m -12.23%

4) Open time 08.24.2015 16:10 Close time 08.24.2015 16:11 NZDCAD Buy 0.96 0.83018 - 0.85800 0.83870 -193.0 -1401.70 31s -16.47%

5) Open time 08.24.2015 16:11 Close time 08.24.2015 16:11 NZDCAD Buy 0.96 0.82608 - 0.85360 0.82248 -311.2 -2256.63 28s -40.45%

6) open time 08.24.2015 16:11 Close time 08.24.2015 16:11 NZDCAD Buy 1.20 0.82196 - 0.84946 0.82259 -268.7 -2436.67 19s -73.33%

but ended up I'm in a great loss, my 10K USD account was blown away in just few minutes but Coliseumfx claimed he won 12% on trades taken on 24/8/15, but I suffered 96% loss on manage account, can you imagine??

Please see below for the email that he send it to me starting from date that he changed my account master password.

Hi Coliseumfx,

I'm panic to see such a great loss and that's why I've been sending you many emails, you are an investor yourself and I'm sure you understand how I felt right now. I need to know what went wrong, and I'm not sure whether you are helping me to find the reason as to why I suffered this great loss? And I really don't think I deserved this result, can you kindly get back to me cos' I trusted you according to your past records and your performance, I'm really relying you on this matter and my account is totally blown away now, let me know what is your finding and how you can help to solve this matter, this is serious, thank you!

Please be very careful with Coliseumfx Cladwell.

2015-03-22 5Star I am very pleased with ColiseumFX, a promising signal provider. Prompt response in email and excellent customers support.
Really like their discipline & patient approach, they're up 76% for the year and still with 6% risk, impressed!
I'm definitely in for the long run, keep up the good work and a fantastic year to a great 2015.

Until now there is still no news of refund for those of us who has paid upfront. I have contacted him on multiple occasions on skype and email but received no response at all.

I suspect that those few who are repeatedly posting 5 star reviews are paid by this unethical swindler to post again and again. Or he might have some sort of proxy that may be difficult to detect by the FPA staff.

More than that, I see that they are always spouting nonsense. When I was with him, the drawdown was anything but minimal. He can risk more than 400 pips just to gain 10 to 20 pips, a trade and pray technique. Usually for traders who have no edge.

Again,I reiterate, stay away from this crook. A martingale strategy will someday backfire and when that day comes, I suppose these "Tom Wilson" and "Darryl Cheatham" will stand and talk about how this Mr C made them millions of dollars despite the loss.

2015-07-01 1Star This person is an absolute cheat. This person is downright unethical and appalling. His newest exploit is cheating people into purchasing 6 or 12 months subscription saying that his costs have increased and does not provide refund to current subscribers who had purchased subscriptions earlier.

He is very dodgy when it comes to uncomfortable questions like performance and compensation for transition when there was a gap for the current subscribers while he claimed to change the trade copying service. Now, he is back to using the exact same trade copier and yet still claims that his costs have increased and therefore no longer wants to do the trade copying business and instead, focus on managed accounts since his business has grown exponentially. However, he said that he was doing the trade copying subscribers a huge favour by still offering the trade copying service. Note also that he previously said that current subscribers are NOT affected. To briefly illustrate how ridiculous his greed became, subscription was at half the price at a lower commitment of 2 months, $149 for 2 months, or $74.50 per month. Yesterday, he announced how he is a 'generous god' by gracing us with the milk and honey of his signals. The price skyrocketed to twice the price per month at $149 for a minimum commitment of 6 months at $899 or $1399 for a commitment of 12 months which amounts to $116.60 per month. Still a big jump from past subscription prices.

As though that is not repulsive enough. You will feel like an absolute slave while communicating with him. He is arrogant and only answers questions that he deems fit enough to be answered. At times when he doesn't reply and you speak of letting others know about his atrocious attitude. He will snap at you and accuse you of not reading his godly messages which are the newsletters. Keep in mind that those newsletters are junk that does not say anything significant except impose his inflated ego on you. So when you ask him something that is not explained. He snaps at you. Even when you're trying to make payment and asks some questions. All you will receive are one worded answers that answers none of your questions.

Trading wise, he trades only 2 pairs. NZDCAD and GBPCAD. As most traders understand, such exotic pairs usually have high spread for many brokers. The broker that he used has low spreads for both of these pairs but if one is to do a simple search, you will see that the broker he uses has a terrible reputation. So always expect negative slippage. My slippage was over 300 pips in a matter of weeks. One good thing is that he nearly always trade with the trend followed by a bunch of amateur techniques. 1) He NEVER allows the profitable trades to run. When a trade is going in the desired direction, he would close the trade at an average of 3-7 pips profit. At times of high volatility, it can reach 20+ pips. 2) He always allow losses to run and consistently add position with a higher lot size than your initial trade hoping for a reversal. There was a time that I have near 300 pips of floating loss. The RRR is just terrible. 3) Related to second. When luck favours him and the price action starts reversing in the favourable direction, he would still close all the trades for the pair when the overall is just slightly in profit. This is done even when the momentum is strongly in favour of the trade. Not exactly martingale, but along the lines of it.

I've had enough with the arrogance of this signal provider and I am asking for refund for the remainder of my subscription. He has not replied so far and I doubt such a deplorable person would consider keeping his word. I will never understand how the previous reviews here mentioned that he provides good service and communication is top-notch. Perhaps there has been a personality change to immense greed fueled by an influx of subscribers.

He has previously posted on another forum with his performance and such. Now he has taken it down and disappeared from that forum. There were several questions about his signal service but he was dodgy about it. A simple internet search will yield the truth. Do not take my word for it, try asking him about the myfxbook account that the newsletter with the stellar performance that he has always had partial screenshots out of. He would NOT give it to you.

There are a bunch of good signal service providers out there who are very successful with sound trading strategies and very ethical. They will never show such arrogance as the aforementioned person and would cordially explain and answer questions pertaining to their service. The crook behind ColiseumFX is the archetype of terrible business owner and service provider that you'll never want to put your money with.

Rule of thumb in signal service, if the provider is not transparent. Move on. Which successful signal provider or MAM would want to hide their performance if they are truly stellar? Those who hide behind dubious newsletters claiming great performance are the ones that you must be wary of.

Basically in the same boat as others, have had no communication and NO trades since I was told I need to sign up to the 6 or 12 month subscription. Tom must be lucky or is someone connected to this signal as I had no trades at all since end of June and no responses at all to my emails I sent.

I have been using Coliseum FX for a couple of months on a monthly subscription plan which I understood from his website will never change for exiting members. Mid-June the trading stopped as he was too busy working on his new website and trying to source another signal provider. Apparently the exiting provider, Simpletrader.net, is too expensive. Well...a few weeks later I received an e-mail stating that my subscription expired and that monthly subscriptions are no longer available, -only 6 month or 12 month subscriptions from now on or a profit share arrangement where he takes 40% of profits. After some e-mail exchanges he maintained that the cost of monthly subscriptions are too expensive now and that he do not want to honor his arrangement with the earlier clients anymore for a fixed monthly subscription. After thinking about it for 5 minutes, I decided that I am not going to trust a ghost on the other side of my pc screen (I have no name, country, address, or any details of Mr C as I used to call him) with a subscription paid in advance given the way how he treated his existing clients by not honoring the agreement with them and by not giving any credit for paid subscription time when he stopped trading. It became clear to me that greed has taken a big hold of Mr C to the extent that he does not care about the level of service that he offers to paying clients. Be careful of this dude....things may go well for a couple of months....but then the proverbial pawpaw will hit the fan.

I would like to join my voice to those of David and Ulric. All what they say happened to me ( stop sending signals, promiss of refunding, no answer to my numerous emails ). Dont' trust this crook and stay away from Coliseum. I loose more than 600 $ in one month trusting him.
