I bought drive gold silver almost a year ago from fpa sale. I run autopilot with Euro2,875 account, 0.01 lot, it made Euro 775.54. Main profit was from Gold, i am happy

I am user of Drive Gold from couple of month, good ea for portfolio, make consistent profit 2-3% monthly, dd was below 15%, support is fine.

We are a bit disappointed that you were not able to utilise Drive Gold effectively.

We have been running Drive Gold from years, this is real money verified account set up on December 2012 http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/metatrader_expert_advisor/drive_gold/real so successfully completed 2 years and 9 month, you will find very few EAs in the market which remain successfully for over 2 years. Success in automated trading is how someone utilise it. Its performance depends upon the time someone set up and Gold Trends afterwards. Each basket can take minutes to days and some time weeks as well.

Over 95% cases, Drive Gold or our other EAs close baskets at profit, however in less than 5% cases, you may experience abnormal gain or may be loss, this is due to significant price movement during basket closure. Both types of events comes so over period of time you will be more likely indifferent.

You tested in the period when Gold remain in narrow range, where we also noted slight lower performance but sooner or later Gold face breakout so old basket disappear and it has fresh start. Anyway it is your choice, you already spend money so our suggestion to you is to set up on demo for couple of months, understand this EA and once you are happy then you can go back to real money account. We have dozen of clients who purchased multiple licenses but even more than 5 licenses. They set up at different point in time to gain its full potential.

We have checked your emails.

You sent 2 emails on 27 September and 3rd one on 28 September. The standard response time our reply is 2 business days but in most of occassion it is couple of hours. You got a response 29 September. This is well within our stated timeline.

The client should wait atleast 2 business days before sending follow up emails. We reply emails in the order we receive.

In regards to web site, we periodically updates our web sites so it can be down any time but it is nothing to do with EA continuity. EAs are Activated on different database not related to web sites so even if web sits are down, EAs would continue as normal.

Further to my previous review of Drivegold I am now finished on month 3. Month 2 had no concluded trades but had open losses that reached 40% of the account balance.
Yesterday, 15th July, price dropped significantly and Drivegold closed all trades, regrettably not for a profit. Losses this time are 16 fold. 3 months of this and not a penny profit. I thought this was supposed to be ongoing monthly profits!!
Drivegold is now deleted and binned as another expensive mistake.

2015-06-10 2Star My decision to buy Drive Gold was largely down to its claim of ongoing monthly profits - could this be for real ?
Having bought this EA I applied it to a demo account to monitor performance. After 2 days and 2 profitable deals whilst set to a low TP I decided to attach it to a Live account.
It was days before it did anything and meanwhile the demo was racking up several profitable trades.
Then Live had 3 small trades whilst demo had about 6.
Then on 26th May Live closed out with a LOSS. Demo closed with a profit ! My first month was a 12 fold LOSS

I E-mailed support with my concerns. Response was quick but not helpful. My questions were not answered but a general statement made - '' I must expect this to happen. Demo and Live accounts are different''. Oh yes - and a recommendation to buy more licenses. ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha

My first month is a 12 fold loss and I should give them $1000 and an ongoing fee of $100 per quarter for more. !!!

Month 2 - no concluded deals as yet - in fact all open positions amount to losses exceeding 30% of the account so I am not optimistic at all !!

I sincerely regret making this purchase and I would strongly advise against doing so.

Run live at XM and Think Forex. XM spread is 40-45 pips and sometime EA do not fill complete grid but it is running better than think forex where spread is 20 pips and good execution. It runs well in high volatility and in period of market sideways it wait and close basket at breakout. I run 2,500 with 0.01 lot, its generating above 3% monthly return on both accounts. Happy with the performance. I might try next year other drives.

Drive Gold is the best EA i am running and delivered profits every month. I am using right now 5 licenses on 5 different brokers and very happy with it. I will buy another license to run on AGE and next month another one to run on Thinkforex. I will also try from the same developer Yen Drive. The support is great. Strongly recommended to everyone

Drive Gold is the only non EzeFX EA we are still running. We installed it at the beginning of Jauary this year and since then have never had a losing month.

Sometimes you have to wait for a week or two while the Gold price ranges but as soon as a new trend starts, baskets are closed and profits accumulate again.

This EA is simple to use and painless in operation.

I am using Drive Gold alongwith other EAs and some manual Trades in my Fin Fx account, I think this is the only Gold EA who survive in this market condition. My account is approx $13k, where I allocate $3k on Drive Gold, running 0.01 lot, it contributed so far $612 from September 2013. I am happy with the performance.
