Fourx.me Review

This EA wiped my account today. I wish I would have never purchase it. All claims are false by the author of this EA. Look at their own account on their website, it is %70 in draw down and approaching to margin call. The selling of this EA should stop. I will file a claim with paypal but I believe the developer is smart enough to accept paypal as there is no refund policy for virtual purchases by paypal, just like what Forexhacked developers are doing. it is total scam. beware!!

@DaveW from Manchester: pull the plug out before your account wipes out...I'm sure you wouldn't say that in about a week or so...good luck!

I bought this EA through my business, but I found it too dangerous and it caused loss of money. Fortunately I disactivated it as soon as I saw what it was doing and lost only 10-20% of the account, different from others who lost all. This EA will blow any account after some time if you run 24/5. For its price and for what it did to my real account, I think it's too expensive and you shouldn't buy it. The support was very kind to me, but I really didn't like the product. Don't buy it.

Review: I didn't understand why Forex Peace Army is showing more than 20% weekly for FourX EA. It seems for me that there was a 2nd deposit of $175 or something, after the initial $100, which is not in the profitable closed trades but is being considerated profit, and this is why it's showing more than 20% weekly. Please moderator correct me if I'm wrong. I just can't find 20% weekly in the closed trades. Sorry if it's my mistake.

Review Moderation Team Note: The FPA recently introduced a time weighted method of calculating Profit/Loss that allows accounts to make deposits and withdrawals. Previously, deposits counted as profits and withdrawals counted as losses. The current formula takes a few days to "settle down" after a large withdrawal or deposit. The numbers should self-adjust soon.

The programmers are working to improve the calculations.

2011-11-16 No Rating I bought this EA after watching the performance here at ForexPeaceArmy. Initially the EA was not working in my broker. After changing broker and a few emails asking for help, they found out why and replied correctly saying the EA was not working because the min. lot accepted by my broker was 0.1 and not 0.01 as the “factory” setting and my current setting at that moment. So I changed it to 0.1 and it works now perfectly. They always replied my emails quickly and I emailed them 5 times or more. So my first impression was that their customer service is very good. I don’t know if the EA will work so well as in the ForexPeaceArmy account, let’s see. I will write again in 3-6 weeks to tell how it goes. I will rate the EA results when I have. I won’t rate the support but I would give 5 stars just for it. Hope to give 5 stars for their results too.

This is one of those EA's that you should double your account and take the profits imho. I got close to a margin call when I was on the wrong side of the big gaps that occurred just over a week ago (Sunday gap). The account ended up losing 75%.

The reason the demo account didn't get in to such a problem was because it had already made a significant profit - even then the floating DD was about the same (or maybe more) as the whole profit made for the 6 or so weeks the EA had been on test (was 67.95% floating DD) but has made a slight recovery.

Bottom line this EA can make significant returns very quickly BUT if markets turn against you with some weird price action then there are risks.

As I said at the start of this review - this is great if you want to double up and take profit/rinse and repeat but not for those who want to make steady gradual profits.

This EA has blown my account.and i have request for refund.but they answered : Unfortunately we don't offer money back since we cannot guarantee any loss or profit. the EA is simply a trading tool. now what happens in the financial market is something out of our hands.stay away from this expert advisor

The deposit that has been made was from IBFX-Connect. We have won the contest of the best trading account last week and the amount has been deposited for us as a promotional. We have not faced any margin call danger and we have had at least 75% free margin at most times. Please contact us if you need proof.

To follow up on my previous posting, I have an update! This EA has blown my account today...this is a terrible EA, I lost money because of this EA due to lack of proper SL, etc....I'm very dissatisfied, I want my money back....

2011-11-14 4Star I bought this couple of days ago and seems to be fine...I let it run on my micro account with minimum lot size of .01 trading one pair at a time... will see what happens...this is a grid trader and a good one...

This EA has alot of potential. Yet is has alot of parameters that can be beautifully used for trading. The customer support sends suggestions as to how users should manage their account and they come up with long term recommendations than short term which I liked about it. The fact that they offer different prices for different licences is good too. I would rate this EA 4 Star for now but if the performance stays the same, I will rate it 5 star in few weeks.

I dont understand why some people are complaining about customer service. These guys are extremelly nice and supportive.
It is my second week of trading and so far The EA has generated 45% on my account. They explained very well how to use the EA, how to diversify the risk. Account management and everything. The EA has a very interesting and smart strategy. and the diversification over pairs is just a great simple idea. Will keep you guys posted in 2 weeks again.

I have been with FPA since the beginning when they were forexbastards.com, and I rarely comment unless I feel very strongly. I am just blown away by the negative comments about this EA. This EA is as good as it gets. The price I paid for the EA is a bargain to say the least, and customer service is very responsive and will do whatever it takes to help you be successful. You just need to accept that there are risks associated with trading for "absolute returns" which is what this EA does, and you need to apply it accordingly, which customer service will help you with. I use it slightly different than it is used here on FPA and that is the beauty of its flexibility. I will continue to update my post here on FPA as I go, but this is a real gem. I also use it with Forex Growth Bot EA and I am very pleased with the result. Two thumbs up to the developers of this EA! Thanks for sharing.

Spoke to customer service today - wanted to enquire about the EA and the massive dip in equity it had today. The person I spoke to was quite rude actually and told me the EA hit 1 stop loss. Baffled I asked him how that could be possible - 20% drop in total account balance from hitting 1 stoploss!? His answer was, and I quote: 'Yes, when you are making over 100% per month, do you expect 1% SL?'

Im staying very far away from this one! The only reason why we're seeing the results currently posted is becuase the EA is set to a 20% account risk!

IMO - Don't even touch it with a 10 ft pole!
