I made some negative comments about this EA a ways back and wanted to update that. I've new been trading this EA a little over 4 months now. Anyone using this EA and not intervening in the trades will lose money. Use the long settings in an up trend and the down settings in a downtrend Use both in a ranging market. Don't trade Friday's and don't hold more than a couple days and you'll make money. My account has now double since the first of the year.

2009-09-25 06:01AM No rating Backtesting of this product over a 10 year period always blows up the account. Tried different start dates, with the same results. Very similar results found with Ilan 1.6, which is free. Ilan has a very similar growth curve, but also will always blow up your account. Manual exits would be needed to use this EA. Will be asking for a refund.

I think I am done with this, initially this EA was good, but from Jan it has taken away all my profits and now its slowly quickly away my deposit ..
The losses are high than the profit it had accumulated in a span of 4 mnths

Hi fellow traders, my name is Andy and I have only been trading since September 2009 and so I am no expert. What I do know is that I have purchase more than a dozen EA's, many of the big names and have been back testing them for hours, tinkering with different setting etc. I have also forward tested all of them and some of them are running on my live account.

I can honestly say that the FXEB V3.5 has the most potential out of all the EA's that I have used so far. This EA is not for the newby because in it's current format it only trades succesfully in a ranging market. If you want to use it in a trending market you better switch it to trade only in the direction of the trend.

Having said that, when you back test it, pick out a period of when the market is ranging and you will find the win loss ratio is amazing.

Regarding the developer, he is a genuinely nice guy. He has responded to all my correspondense promply and with a very courteous manner. I also believe that he is constantly working to improve the product.

Therefore I would have to give this product a five star rating.

FXEB ran a live test and based their results only on what happened during 2009. I did some back tests and during 2008 it would have wiped out your account at least once maybe twice. I contacted the developers about this but they talked around it. My point is what happened could happen again and that could give you a false impression that this system is fail proof. The main thing is that it didn't have a stop loss and I tried stop losses but then it doesn't work well. I noticed they have built in something on V3 to protect you from wipe outs like shown in the latest test on FPA.I think this is a very good system that really works but the old version still fell under the same category as FX-MAFIX that tells you its a type of gambling system. In other words you trade until you wipe out and it can happen at any time. And then you start again. Maybe V3 would be better but with this system you usually just use it to scalp and you take your profits on a regular basis rather than using it to build up capital. I just say this to make users that are not informed aware of this because its not mentioned and the developers don't tell you this either. Well this is what I had. I cannot comment on V3. I hope I get it soon.

The EA trades and delivers as promised. Good EA and two thumbs up for the developers. Highly recommended.

The livetests results are manipulated!!! There were big losses on Dec 4th still opened this morning and this evening they disappeared! I don't understand how FPA can support such "hosted" livetests :(

Review Moderation Team Note; We were a little mystified when we received 3 reports of this in one day. We have found the problem and have corrected it.

FXEB version 2 is running in a different account than the previous version. While rearranging things on the Performance Testing server, the old account was accidentally accessed instead of the new one. This has now been fixed. All "missing trades" are back.

Please note that all FPA Performance Test statistics come directly from copies of MT4 that is running on our servers. For remotely hosted tests, our copy of MT4 is logged in to the same account using the investor password. As long as we don't accidentally login to the wrong account, there should be no way for results to be manipulated.

We'd like to thank our alert reviewers for spotting this issue.

P.S. Enodr, please use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page regarding the other issue.

Brought this EA in 27 September 2009. which at that time is the V1.00 EA, now using V1.50. Alpari UK live account. Started with 500.00 with risk =4 (just to test it with small account). Now is 30 November 2009 live account is 1,503.05 at time writing this review. Longest closing trade is about 1 week time.

Great EA, will continue to use it. Will be writing review again in 6 month time to see this EA is OK in long run. Support is great. Will not ask for refund.

I give it FOUR star reserve one for future.

This is in my top three robots. I had it on demo and now on live account, and it is doing very well. Also, support is fantastic - the best!

We asked FPA to restart our test as we have updated our EA to V2.0 and thought due to the internal changes it would be best to restart the test.

Review Moderation Team Note: The old test is available via the dropdown menu on the Performance Test page. This is standard for all restarted tests. We look forward to seeing how well the upgraded version performs.

Jan,
our click bank records so we received payment on the 16/11.
We sent you the EA on the 17th and resent on the 19 to the email address you emailed us on. were sorry you did not receive them.
jan placed her refund on the 19th which will be refunded. a simple email stating they were not receiving them would have remedied this issue.
