Both EA's PB5 and DTS-1 are loosing systems for long term trading believe me. I traded with both of them. I can't say you how much i am loosing with the systems. At the begining it looks promising Advisors, but think a little, what happens if the system opens about 300+ trades ??? Ok, i tell you it hapens allready at my real accout - you will loose everythink! Because the EA try to hedge all the trades (repair) and increase open trades. Even if you trade with 0.01 as recomended some brokers has a limit to 250 open positions and after ....what happens ??? You loose the account. The limit somewhere is 1000 open position, but what if we have 1.000 open positions, you loose the whole account.

And the support service is terible. I send many emails to Gagahlin but no answer

Well...all I can say is don't believe the money back guarantee promise that the site makes.
I forward tested the strat. and I was not satisfied with the equity drawdown and the length of time that equity is tied up in the trade for such a small profit.
I asked for a refund and only got 50% back. Since then no emails have been answered.
It's not a scam but highly unsatisfying customer service.

I run both PointBreak and DTS-1 in live accounts and have for quite a while. They are both slow steady performers that make money. They do get into big drawdowns sometimes but I have never lost money running them at risk 1 and 2. The only thing I can say is sometimes they are slow to respond. This is one of the few companies that make EAs that actually work long term.

I have had extensive experience with the various EA's put together by these guys and all I can say is that I have lost alot of money on my live accounts. I have bought every program that they made. Their latest incarnation...DreamBuilder....was actually a NIGHTMARE for me because it blew up my account at the lowest risk setting. Yes, I know that the developers have all kinds of sophisticated ways of adjusting the setting and parameters based upon their personal evaluation of the fundamentals that effect the FX market. This may work for them...but if you are looking for an EA that does the work for you, without manual intervention, you may want to look elsewhere.

Very very easy to set up and understand. Customer service has been excellent, and it's clear that the creators of these EA's work hard to continually improve their products. If you're looking for a solid, low risk EA based on hedging that will grow your account by about 5% - 15% or more per month, this one is for you.

I learned very quickly that I was a lousy trader. Now, granted, I know I can improve and will continue to practice when I have time. But the reality is, living in the Pacific time zone, and having a wife and two young kids, being up during the Euro sessions to take advantage of optimal trading time is simply out of the question at this point. So I was very excited to find an EA (it was recommended to me by a friend) and see that it works very well.

Just make sure that you take the time to understand the EA and get it set up PROPERLY. Anyways, I've been demoing it for a little while now and have seen very good results... open drawdown at times up to 10% or so, but as long as the market starts to trend at some point, the open positions get resolved and you end up with profit. And even during those few phases where drawdown is occuring, and you're finding yourself with positions open... the EA will continue to open and close new cycles, locking in more profits while you wait for the drawdown to resolve.

I'm still fairly new to Pointbreak, but I can say I've been very happy with the customer service, thus far. They have answered all of my questions and helped me get the ball rolling. I am in NO way affiliated with these guys. Check them out. They have a demo that you can run to see how the program works and they are VERY transparent when it comes to explaining the theory behind this EA.

Anyways, I've rambled enough. Give these guys a look.

After testing on demo and live accounts since March 2008, I finally tossed pointbreak aside and stopped trading. The software works only in trending markets and gathers big drawdowns in sideways markets. My longest DD was 3 months - 40% DD - to make $10 at their lowest risk level of 1. My demo account at a more aggressive risk setting was wiped out. During DD's, management will send you e-mails on how to get faster out of DD's by tinkering with the software and guessing at where the market is going to go. They mentioned several reports to read, fundamentals to look at etc. They also mention not to trade on Friday and Victor - the co-developer of this system sent me a link to another EA to offset PointBreaks losses. The results on their site are manipulated with manual trades. This EA works on risk level 1 and if you have the patience to endure long deep drawdowns for multiple months until the EA works itself out or the market starts trending again. It is a very very slow way to increase profits. Realizing that PB did not work in sideways markets, they just came out with a new system DTS-1 to enhance PB that is supposed to work in all types of markets - at a hefty increase in price - $895 for the full price or $99 quarterly payments. After testing hundreds of EA's, and reporting them on this site - my conclusion is that the EA developers make more money from the sales of their EA's than their EA's themselves. I still trade manually and have out performed all EA's I thus far tested.

When I submitted review in March, I promised to follow up when I would have more experience. Now I do. The system has been consistently profitable. I am trading it on my largest live account and leaving it alone most of the time. It has even made up losses incured by other "4 or 5 stars" EAs on the same account. So far the only consistently profitable system I know, and I have tested around ten of them, even the most glamorous ones judged by reviews. Through my experience and thinking, I am starting to become sceptic of any systems that try to predict the market direction, as the markets always find ways to surprise you or to reverse in the worst possible moment. In contrast, the PointBreak system goes with the market and places trades until the profit is obtained. A word of caution - go no higher than risk 3, if you are not prepared to gamble. Better even risk 1 or 2 for starting. It simply will make for less drawdown. Even then, a risk setting 3 means occasional drawdown of 20 to 30%, which is almost sure to happen one day. It is as sure to be resolved with profit later, but is a bit unnerving on the live account. Also, the system is best left alone with default settings, untill enough experience is obtained through various possible setting manipulations on demo account.

2008-03-24 4 stars At the moment I am quite positive and optimistic about performance of PointBreak EA. I am trading it live vith moderate risk settings since beginning of february 2008, and have been testing it on demo account some time before. So far good profits, better than other EAs I am trading, and it got out of every drawdown so far. Of course, the time is too short to tell for sure, but the logic behind this EA look solid and the response from support team has always been excellent. I would like to wish them good luck, as I am most interested in their good product development in future. At the moment I would rate it 4stars, but it is a candidate for more, if it continues the same way.

As Todd says below, out of thousands of EA's, this one works. I demo traded PointBreak for 4 months and averaged 5+% per week. The author gives you detailed instructions on how it works and what parameters to change if price goes against you or if you just want to tweek it. I chose to just let it run to see how it did. It handled every condition the market went through without any changes on my part. I just went live with a $2,000 mini-account. I love this EA!
