I have no experience with this firm, but I notice that it has been banned in Dubai for "misconduct". See this:
http://www.business24-7.ae/articles/2008/9/pages/09082008_fc2ef83f016143b1b76cf6dbc0a4fa3f.aspx
Begin quote:
"The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) yesterday said it had fined GFS Investments (Middle East) and suspended its operations for "mis-selling" and also banned its employees from operating in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) for five years.

GFS will pay $502,000 to investors who suffered losses because of its misconduct, the DFSA said in a statement.

GFS Investments was licensed to provide an online foreign exchange and commodities trading facilities.

Alfred Tang, Licensed Director and Finance Officer at GFS, agreed to resign from his job and not offer financial services from the DIFC again, the regulator said.

Five employees, including Senior Executive Director Mike Leung, were fined $5,000 each, while four others were penalised between $3,000 and $4,000, it said."

I've tried Gain, Saxo, FXCM, plus a few others and I've founf this company to be among the best out their. Good, solid support, quick fills, little slippage. There is absolutely nothing bad about them. I haven't got a clue what the bad reviewer was talking about.

Their operation is just terrible. They have the widest spreads of any FCM that I have ever seen. I have heard complaints that the money deposited is not returned quickly. I actually spoke with one of the Sales Directors and he seemed a little loopy. I also spoke with the Manager there and he has told me a number of lies. I tried to call back and I couldn't get any other sales people on the phone. It seems like a small company. I simply don't recommend them.

I don't know if FAHD 's case is real or not. I know people who have accounts with GFS in 6 digit amounts without any problem withdrawing. Like I said, I've been with them for over 3 years, I have withdrawn and seen other withdraw(people I refer them to GFS) without any problem. If what you're saying is true, please go report to NFA with your evidence.

2008-01-19 5 Stars It's been very honest with me so far. I've been trading through them for about 3 years now. They honor their stops, never suspend you during news (I don't trade news much anyway). Spreads are widen a bit during big datas, but who doesn't ? Their platform is proprietary, so it might take some learning to use, but I find it quite easy to learn and use.

GFS has a great platform with every tool imaginable. To make it better, the guys that work in the New York office that I have talked to are actually helpful and honest! they seemed to not be trying to make a quick buck out of me like most WALL ST scum but instead holding onto me as a long term customer.
