This product is designed for the following main functions.

1. To collect tick data.
2. To collect data from any time frame.
3. To collect data from any platform that allows DLL calls.
4. To collect data from any tradable item such as currencies, stocks, futures, etc.

With the above in mind, a windows application was created to:

1. View the data in a grid, to ensure the data is being collected properly.
-View any database and any table from that database.
2. Import any data you have to keep it safe in your new database.
3. Export any data to a CSV in order to run tests in your platform of choice.


Various other features are in place to facilitate your database usage:

1. Delete Databases
2. Delete Tables
3. View any table between a selected period of time.
4. Logging of errors from all of the databases.
5. Various other features.


There are at least three substantial, immediate uses of this database.

1. Permanently store trade data.
2. Use the data to run backtests on any platform - with real tick data, or bars compiled from tick data. (You can build these bars in a spreadsheet.)
3. Sometimes brokers run ticks through and wipe out stops, or otherwise wreaks havoc on your trade, and then mysteriously the chart gets rearranged to reflect what the broker wants people to see, who didn't witness it real time. This database gives you power to help your broker be honest. They say something never happened, you witnessed it, they re-issued the data to make it disappear. Your word against theirs. You now have proof it did happen, down to the second or better, with volume, bid ask, etc.
