The question we have to ask is what are we collectively going to do about this. This was a scam, you know it and I know it. Lets make sure this guy cannot sell another product again. Lets see if we can sue this guy and get our money back..He knew right from the beginning that his whole account and all of our accounts would be blown...please contact me at par3on1@aol.com and lets put forth some ideas..

Not sure what happened in their test, but I've been using shortseller for 2 weeks now with a live account and it's been doing well, ~2-3%/day. The install was straightforward, and the the developer was very responsive and helpful with my questions. Obviously, it will take more time to determine how it does over the long haul, but for now it is dramatically outperforming FapTurbo and Million Dollar Pips for me.

Whooo. How can the #1 EA go from the extreme top of the list to the extreme bottom in 2 days. Whooo. What a ride. In their own projections the Developer must have known their own risk and based on their settings that they could blow out their account in +/- one day. And now we know the reason why they dont have any refund policy. Sorry to fellow traders that warned us on this site of the unusual nature of their non-refund policy, and we did not listen. And Developers tricky language "gird trade" which is nothing more than doubling down your losses. I guess next time they will have to come up with a new term to call it. This should get a <5> rating, but a 1 rating is the lowest it goes. Whoo to me if I ever do another doubling down loss EA. If I want to go on a ride next time I will go to Disneyland.

I am planing to buy. But thing hold me back. Saw the forward test at FPA which loss 2600++ pips and the trade still open. Also, checked the short seller live forward test( real money) no longer available for viewing. Guess the account blown up. Luckily didn't buy since no 60 days guarantee money back. Hopeffuly short-seller can improve on it.

Oops...Short seller just blew its real money forward test account. There were huge losses in euraud and eurchf. I hope ithe team will continue with the real money forward test and that it can come back from it. Or maybe make improvements to the EA to prevent future such occurences.

I too will not post here further because the moderator "chooses" who to post and who not to posts; I suspect that Felix has financial interests on who to promote based on who advertises despite the damage which certain promotions by "anonymous" scammers promote as has been the case here. I have cautioned members to be extremely careful with Shortseller and the promotions made by certain high rollers and now the collapse of this account by Shortseller proves my point. I am not happy with this because there are naive members of the public who probably lost money because of this coercive and manipulated indirect advertising through post manipulation by Forex Peace Army; I will make this known in other more reliable forums and perhaps ask the Attorney General and the SEC to investigate.

2011-08-02 No Rating Trading Forex is not about "Luck", it is about careful study and evaluation removed from the main issue of "emotions" and control of them. As a principal as has been pointed out many times at ForexPeaceArmy and elsewhere, at a minimum, one should demo test any trading strategy including EA’s for a minimum period of time. Above all and the main reason this site was established, is for the public to be aware of scammers who will use all types of strategies to push their product, including multiple anonymous posts declaring the discovery of “the” best EA ever: Any system or EA which is worth its grain of salt will work today as well as tomorrow without the need of any hype from anyone or rush to spend ones money and then risk additional funds without proper demo testing. I own Shortsell as well as many other high end EA’s being tested at FPA; thus far Shortsell is within “reasonable” consideration but if you are reading this post and want to get a “balanced” opinion about its efficacy, I would wait or at least demo test it for a bit while longer..without the need of “luck” or frustrated emotional outburst.

2011-07-28 No Rating I personally am an investor and Forex trader, not a gambler. The EA has been running for just over a month, yet someone goes out and gambles close to 100k on a system the second week? To boot, they have the phone number of the developer? I don't know what “flavour” this is? Too many suspicious questions of "promotion"?

2011-07-27 No Rating I don't know, I don’t like to give false and misleading expectations and have people fork out the 400$. I have been trading the EA's for a week or more now and "at the moment", I don't see what the hype is all about. I am not trading the USD pairs in fear that when and if, there is a settlement with Congress there is going to be a spike and losses will follow. As far as the service is concerned the turnover response time is average when compared to other EA’s I own. Their documentation leaves much to be desired; nowhere does it indicate to use all four pairs with both EA’s etc. I can appreciate the experimentation that some people are doing with swaps and all but that is not the focus of the trading system. It would have been better if the vendors listed on their site the best pairs to use at any one time based on market trends etc. I’ll reserve my rating until such time I have something to rave about. Oh, by the way, I got rid of the Clapan EA (had hopes for it) but despite my loss, I am still thankful I could get a refund whereas with Shortseller it will be an added loss because of the no refund policy, should it fail to meet expectations.

2011-07-13 No Rating Why does this EA show an overall 5 stars, when it has only been tested on a demo and that with a broker who is nothing more than an unknown? “Clapan EA”, has been running for longer than this one, has a one month refund offer and the people have put their money where their mouth is and are trading 20k in a live account; with a reputable broker (Alpari) and yet only has 3 stars...is there a disconnect somewhere Mr. moderator? It should not be enough that a vendor volunteers a product and at the end scams a member after the fact. It should be policy of FPA to protect the public by insisting at a minimum a one month money back guarantee before you advertise any vendor ; whether by choice or not, in a way, you are advertising this product directly or indirectly.

FPA Review Moderation Team Note: The company has a 5 star rating because so far only one client has left a rated review and that is the rating he gave. If more purchasers leave reviews, then the rating may change. The other EA has more reviews. One of them was low because of an issue getting the EA. Another was very suspicious because of some delays with results being posted.

We test products that are volunteers or that many people have asked about. Our testing shows results pulled from the broker. In some cases, the test goes well and likely helps sales. Check the list of tests that wiped out their accounts and you will see that an FPA Performance Test is not always a good selling point for a company.

We wish that all sellers would offer money back guarantees. Some sellers feel that buyers take advantage of this to get free copies of products. Our main concern is that any money back guarantee terms be clearly laid out before purchase and that those terms are honored.

We wish that all reviewers would clearly state how long they've used a product and how much real money is involved. We wish that all PT volunteers would use live accounts. We've required this for managed accounts and signals services. Currently, the FPA is exploring options for moving all EA tests to live accounts.

We hope to see some more reviews by purchasers of this EA soon. Due to the price and the lack of guarantee, we expect that there won't be as many users as some other EAs have.

Highly intelligent ea, i have used many eas but i have not seen any that is clever like short seller.i have just started using it the result match what the the fpa is testing. i give this ea 5*****,and i will keep africa posted as time goes on.

This should check out through all your usual methods, fpa. Gambling isn't what I'm doing here. I mentioned, I think, that I've cut the risk to 25% of what is recommended for the system, and have revamped the capital protection safeguards available with the system to something more standard for this type of system. Furthermore, I've been removing funds from my account in $5K increments as earned. Again, this is all standard operating procedure when using two systems, a grid and a martingale. I am very well aware of the risks.

If that's gambling, then so be it. I think my friend from Montreal is just sour grapes because he is being excessively cautious & not achieving good returns as a result.

Having the phone number of the developer, I would agree is a bit odd. But I'm telling you honestly, I have no connection with the developer, except as an ecstatic customer. He wanted to talk with me by phone shortly after purchasing the system to discuss risk management, which we did after playing phone tag a while. He also offered me the opportunity to invest in some sort of forex social networking site which I declined. I agree this is a bit strange, but I just consider it symptomatic of the superb customer service I've encountered.

Finally, this is the last review I shall post on the subject. Mr. Ellas can believe what he wants or not. He can sit in his bomb shelter with his canned food & his rifles, failing to follow directions and missing out or open himself up to an unusually profitable system employing reasonable & prudent safeguards as I've done because it is admittedly high risk. Frankly, I don't give a darn. I don't need to defend myself with the likes of Mr. Ellas. My testimony is my bank account & by necessity a private matter. If he doesn't want to play, it just leaves more for me.

Good Luck to all, especially Mr. Ellas. He seems to need it.

2011-07-28 No Rating Let me see if I can give a flavor for "what all the hype is about". To summarize my situation, I have been trading this thing live for roughly 3 weeks. I have reduced the risk to 25% of recommended & am running the thing with a 25% global equity stop loss using the free equity sentry ea (ea coder). I am running with all recommended pairs. I am running on 2 live accounts with a total equity of roughly $100K. To date, I have banked $26K. What that means is that in a worst case scenario, I'll wind up in a breakeven. I recently replaced the USDSGD pair with EURCHF as recommended by the site.

What I have not done is refrain from using it on the recommended pairs. I have followed instructions. I also have not gone completely hog wild on the risk which you would do using the recommended settings, though I note another poster doing that has been lucky so far and is trading his whole account risk free. The response I've noted from support has been 2 standard deviations above the standard here. Emails are answered quickly, if not immediately, and I have the guys phone number and can call him.

So, I'm not giving some false impression here. That is what I've encountered, what I'm running, how I'm using the system, and what I see. That's all.

2011-07-20 No Rating I agree that risk management is the weak point in this ea. I realized belatedly that the % risk they have as a parameter in their ea is PER PAIR (& possibly even per ea per pair). So, I asked support if a 48% drawdown in 2 pairs would blow the account before the SL kicked in. The answer was my analysis was correct & it would! Upon hearing this, I ate my open drawdown & closed all the positions, even though I was running half the recommended risk & with a 25% SL number. Add to this, the fact 3 of the 4 recommended pairs are dollar denominated & it doesn't take much imagination to see how a snap rebound in the dollar could very easily blow an account. After pulling $15K in profits obtained in just over a week out of my larger live account (running on an $80K and a $20K account (with 50% bonus it's $30K), I restarted cutting my risk by 50% again (25% of recommended) & using a free ea called "equity sentry" from ea coder to implement a 25% global equity SL in each of my accounts. Gains have slowed, but still are decent. I have communicated my concerns to support & they stated they would look for other pairs for additional diversification & implement the sort of global equity stop loss I told them I preferred & is more standard & usual for the sort of high risk EAs they are selling. Continuing to run this using 2 accounts of roughly $80K and $20K (+$10K bonus) and am almost ready to debride off an additional $5K + wire transfer fees. That's also important incidentally when running with a grid & a martingale as their eas are. This is what I mean by taming the high risk inherent in these eas. My 2 cents.

I have actually used this bot. Have you?

Essentially this bot uses two risky strategies on 4 currency pairs, 3 of which are short the US Dollar. As a fundamental argument I can't argue with the strategy in the longer term. We have a very bright MIT grad & Princeton economist working tirelessly to turn the dollar to confetti. He has succeeded admirably & I see no reason this shouldn't continue. In this setting, the robot has performed admirably. You may excoriate it for only having a brief demo record. I'm telling you what's shown matches perfectly what I'm getting in my live account. The challenge is to tame the strategy, so a sudden adverse move doesn't destroy your account. I'm telling you I think it's possible to do this. Furthermore, support from this vendor is virtually immediate during business hours and sometimes even off-hours.

That's what I see, and I call it as I see it. Hence 5-*. No other rating is possible, at this time, though I may modify this with further experience. That's all.

2011-07-13 5Star Sorry to differ with the other opinions, but I do. It's true this robot has no money back guaranty, but just about every other one out there that does is c***, or quickly becomes c*** within a month.

This robot appears to deliver the goods. Support is extremely responsive, and while the methods used are high risk, the returns are high enough that the risk can be eliminated in pretty short order.

Two thumbs up.

This EA is by far the most incredible EA I have ever used.
I just doubled my 60k one more time.
I started with 60K around a month ago, it was turned to 130K. I cashed out 70K and started with 60K again and now my account balance is 120K again. I am cashing out 60K again keep running the EA. Great job for the developer.

2011-07-25 5Star Short seller did great this morning too. I was excited when I woke up and saw the account balance and the floating trades with minimal loss.
I think it is going to have extraordinary performance this entire week because of the debt ceiling talk in US. I started with a 60K account, and I am 130K at the moment. Am cashing out 70K and start with the original 60K. I have brought down the stoploss and so far none has ever been hit. The support team recommended me EURCHF and EURCAD. It seems like they are fundamentally analyzing the market all the time and have always a tip for you. Will keep you guys posted as I proceed with the EA.

2011-07-19 5 Stars This EA is perfectly backed by market fundamentals.
The support is great and honest.
There is a variety of parameters that user can set to increase or decrease the risk and profit. I have been using it for 2 weeks on low risk and high risk and the results has been just perfect.
Will keep you guys posted in few weeks again as to how it is performing.
