I was with Tradefreedom for a couple of years until they were taken over by Scotia...Up to then great service, no hidden fees. Now it is terrible...hidden fes...the onus is on the customer to cancel, lousy custmer service, long wait times, emails not acknowledged, awful!! Scotia have also gone into the cinema business (Paramount in Montreal now cinema Scotia)....I believe Peter Lynch called this "diworsification"!

TradeFreedom's stock side of the company is terrible. Zero support with the worst customer service of any Canadian brokerage.

Saxo platform. Spread is a little high. They are probably better in stock trading than Forex.
Trading during news is not allowed. About average or a little under average company. I have been with them only 2 months. Will post again in few months.

Trade Freedom white labels the Saxo platform, but add their spread, so you get 4 or 5 wide on gbp and cad.. Euro was 2 or 3 wide..So if you like the Saxo platform , then its not bad.
