Hi!

My name is Alex, I'm a developer and I'm trying to make traders' life easier by creating tools which help in different routines. For example: tool for backtesting, tool for copying trades from one account to another, tool for one-click trading, etc...

I'm here on FPA to hear your opinions about what software you may need in trading and how I can improve my tools so they will become more useful for traders.

Hi Alex,
Can you make Sive Morten into an app? Just kidding, but that would be cool. Welcome to FPA and thanks for the offer. I'll keep you in mind.

Hello Alex,
which software/applications do you specialize in?
Have you done any trading tools to date?
thanks for your offer

Yes, I have a couple of finished tools, some of them are free to use and some of them are being sold, here is the list of the tools which are ready:

Forex Copier - has free version; allows transfering trading signals between different MT4 accoutns.
Forex Tester paid one; backtesting simulator, allows trading on historical data like in real time. Actually I'm not the main developer of this software but I take part in the development.
Forex Helper - free software; allows to open predefined trades in one click
Forex News Provider - free software; allows to monitor upcoming news events
MT4 tick data service (I do not have a web site for this yet); the service allows downloading ~2.5 years of tick-by-tick historical data and importing these data into MT4 platform for backtesting. Data are fetched from 8 brokers and ~30 symbols.

Also I have many other ideas of the software which can help traders but I do not have enough time to implement that :)

to moderators: I hope that I'm allowed to post links to my software here, especially to the free ones, if I'm not allowed please let me know.
