Dear Traders!

I am Rafia Shabbir and I am a trader. I traded on Etoro (Europe).Ltd and I have incurred $1900 losses due to their platform error. They promised me to compensate my money and they never did that. I am a poor girl and I didn't find any way, so I decided to take your help and to inform you that they are doing fraud to their clients.

I would be grateful if you can get my money back from them.

I have attached my full conversation with Etoro (Europe). LTD.

I know many people who suffered from this problem and they are also fought with etoro, but no success. Please keep yourself away from them.

Don't understand how some brokers as Etoro admit its technical error but starts to manipulate the case by going into the clients trading and market prices to say something like 'if there was no technical problem, you could had lost this" What's this cheat action by such bad brokers?!!! What's that nonsense!:mad:

How it started with a 140$ compensation and became only 12$?!!

This case must be explained by Etoro publicly. Inform the broker about this thread.

Tell the many people who suffered problems with etoro broker to come and post their opinions and proofs here. They have a chance to get their money back instead of surrendering to bad brokers cheats!

Traders are responsible for their poor trading.

So likewise are the companies they use! If there system is so faulty that they have to go back & interpolate peoples trades than they ought to use a better system.

Pay the traders!

Fix your system!

I am neither rich nor poor; but seeing your hopefulness crushed in such a brutal manner is both devastating and unjustifiable.

Rafia, if you still know the path to your thread at FPA, don't take some members comments seriously.
It's just a clear example of Trading Ignorance:p
This is what happens when a person rush himself into a business that don't have experience about, even if that will mean less amount of posts;).
Shelter is a better option in these times than hanging on forums to compensate what had been lost, take a break, nothing will escape, FPA site will still be here:D, instead of asking for government compensation later on:p

Great that there are still many people in many different states who have the full awareness(missed in some members here) to vote for the same right President Barack Obama;)

The world is safer with his wisdom than other new crazy third Bush:mad: with another cold war disaster complicated mind:mad

If etoro doesn't come to explain its excuse to not pay you, file a Traders court case, especially looking at the bad financial situation for the client.

I recommend you keep pursuing some better compensation from eToro. In the meantime, please do the following.

1. Start seeking a better broker.

2. When you do get a new account at another broker, make sure that your stops and trade volume are set so that you can never lose more than 1-2% of your account balance on any one trade if you do lose connectivity. Also, never have more than 4-8% of your account at risk if all open trades his SL at the same time. This won't stop a broker from causing you issues, but will greatly reduce the potential damage.

I am sad to hear that you have yet to be compensated. I have championed your case with our customer relations people, and was extremely content when they agreed to give you the full compensation for your trade. However, now that I hear that nothing has been resolved as of yet, I will once again get in touch with them in order to see that you are finally treated properly, as is your right as a customer. I know you probably don't want to hear any more promises or demands to be patient. All I can say is that I am working on it and I will update you on the results shortly.

Good Step Laura. Am Glad that eToro had admitted its mistake, taking this case seriously from now on and working on the best ending that satisfies both sides.

But the importance is in practical actions not just promises(words);)

FPA wants an end that leads to Justice.

I have emailed to social@etoro.com as referred by you, and Daniel replied me that he was going on holidays and after that he never replied to my emails. Please take an action, so that i can get my compensation. It is really frustrating for me as i have been fighting for last 6 months now. Please take an action now, i have faith in your words.

Thanks a lot to forexpeacearmy that they have provided us such a nice platform to convey our messages to concerned people and to spread awareness.

Alone we are just another unhappy customer, together we are an army...
