Currency Strength and Weakness for Thursday 28th February 2013

Lost on Euro/USD, Eur/Jpy, Eur/Chf and USD/Cad while trading the European session. The good thing is it was a demo. Bad thing is that looks like another run of the mill signal service. But it was free so can't complain

Hi mokikila,

PLEASE go and read my earlier posts - it is very important you do that and understand the meaning of my posts.

This is NOT a signal service - never has been, never will be.

If you simply placed the trades in the direction I suggested without any reason to enter from your own trading strategy then that would explain why you lost on those trades.

I didn't take any shorter time frame trades yesterday as there were no suitable setups in the direction I was looking for the trades to trend - hence no losses.

Regards
Andrew

Mokikila- you will never be successful in forex if you simply follow signals...you must apply your own analysis to each and every forecast you intend to use. That means learning about the behaviour of the market and studying and studying hard. otherwise what you hoped would be get rich quick activity soon becomes get poor quickly....I don't mean to sound patronising but take it from one who learned the hard way. I saw Andrews forecasts today, not one pair fitted with my strategy and trading style so I did not enter....seems I made the correct decision. Lets see what tomorrow brings :)

Counter Trend

I dont want to sound too cheeky, but could you share on how you derive these conclusions ???

Cheers,

DM

He might, but doubtful as then there would be nothing left to sell.

Given the results on the USD-CAD yesterday, I venture a guess that it must be counter trend with some candlestick thrown in, pretty hard to pick those tops with strong trend in place.

Now wait for the excuses, I mean explanation, getting lots of thanks for sure, but I don't see any results posted.

Really, anyone made any money just from someone saying in the morning, today's buys are, today's sells are??? please post your charts, not too hard is it?

So, buy USD-CAD today? let's wait and see

:)

But Andrew, you are a GIANT now, what you say is gospel!

You will get novice traders here believing what you post, especially if there is no guidance as far as explaining the what they are looking for as in " suitable setups in the direction I was looking for the trades to trend "

The real reason to post is to get exposure for your trading course, nothing more, nothing less, a commercial venture, nothing else, no free signals, no free education, no charting to share, move along guys, this will die off quickly

Andrew has a point, this is only a direction but you have to do the hard work of finding a good entry. Would be good to know for day trades what time periods to watch like hourly and 4 hourly to find entry and using daily to confirm direction?
