Hi, I am a new trader and i am not very sure whether i am right in filing a case. Want to highlight my grievance and would request your advice on whether i have enough basis to file a case. I had opened EUR/USD trade on 15th Mar (Friday) and had let the trade run having given the stop loss and take profit rates. When i checked on Monday (18th) i found to my horror that the trades have been closed around 100 pips below my stop loss rates.

a) 12360892 - EUR/USD - Stop loss set at 1.3002 but deal closed at 1.2909 (Extra loss of $ 46.65)

b) 12360116 - EUR/USD - Stop loss set at 1.2992 but deal closed at 1.2909 (Extra loss of $ 41.65)

c) 12359508 - EUR/USD - Stop loss set at 1.2990 but deal closed at 1.2909 (Extra loss of $ 40.50)

d) 12359793 - EUR/USD - Stop loss set at 1.2296 but deal closed at 1.2909 (Extra loss of $ 43.65)

Followed this mail with a telecon with my account manager. She informed me that since the market started low on Monday all my deals got closed on the start price on Monday. I am unable to understand how on earth the stop loss did not get executed. She bluntly told me that this is because of the market and not their fault and they will not be able to do any thing about the losses. Being a new trader i feel that i am being taken for a toss. Kindly advice whether there is any logic in what my account manager is saying or i am just being ripped off and being made to pay for their system deficiency.

If the market opens with a significant gap, then your SL should execute at the next available price.

My platform shows a huge gap opening in the EUR/USD over from Friday close until Sunday open.

Lately, I've been seeing big weekend gaps too often for comfort. It's probably safer to close all positions on Friday and then reopen them on Sunday or Monday.

i thinks its the holidays

hi haja,
i am a new traders in xforex also, im pretty sure that u opened trade within friday to monday? i thinks it a holidays between saturday to sunday. the markets will open at monday. i also opened trade and get loss profit. the account manager just want to rape us that they just want to us scare about margin, if margin low then we must deposit money, they just conduct that ways to sure we get more lose. we just need to get some educate about graft such as indicator or canddlestick somehting. dont listen to them if u already know about the traders. at my head right now, the scammer is account manager but i be normally and alert with they.. just listen only and do nthing what they said. tq. i hope u will be success one day ! have a nice day
