hi there. im new here. and i think you guys can help for this,

here im goanna tell my story about alertpay.

i have one client for certain project of web development , design and email support maintenance.. and he introduce to me the alertpay. This is my 1st to use that kind of payment. I have no doubt or anything at 1st. it seems that there site have a valid certificate.,, etc..

so they send me there 1st payment amounting to (4digits) lets just say it that way ,, ok it was transfer to my acc. No problem at all. And for me to withdraw I have to be a verified user. So I send all the necessary documents for personal verification…

Then I made a withdrawal.. by bank.. problem is. After few weeks when I check my acc. The status of my withdrawal from pending was change to declined, and my acc. was on hold, I cant do anything to my acc. Whatsoever .. I cant transfer or accept payment.

And they ask for my nature of my work, I told them im a web developer designer , etc.. and I have a company which deal with outsourcing jobs. Like email support. SEO online marketing,, And for there comfort . I send them my business registration , mayors permit, BIR permit, ok they accept it. And they said they goanna upload it in my profile..

Another week past. I ask them for what is the status of my acc. Almost 10+ support email I send them.. no answer. Or my ticket is on-hold. Then another day,, they I receive an email.. that they un hold my acc. Ok nice,. My acc is un hold.

But. My withdrawal was on hold..

Nice.i don’t know what is the use of un holding my acc. If I cant still make a withdrawal..

So they ask me again

“The restriction on your account has been removed, however a payment has been placed on hold pending further review. Can you please explain your affiliation to ( fund sender) in detail? “

I have no choice but to tell them. I have to ignore our privacy policy between my client. As far is I know its my rights. To deny, but you know the situation, they have my money. ..

Then after few week. I check my acc. Now my balance turn to “ 0 “ now what. I check my history. Few of my history are messing. And I figure out what they do is hold the transfer of my fund from my client. So I will have 0 in my acc. They even change the date of transfer of fund. But they forgot to remove my withdrawal that they declined .its still the latest transaction in my history.

I think they run out of excuses. So they going to my client. So I cant make any withdrawal .. cu’z I got “0” in my balance. Obviously I cant , cuz I got 0….

Yeahh my 4 digits fund as a payment. Was gone.

Im not saying that they are scam or whatever or they scam there members or they don’t have fund, I just need further explanation from them.. cuz this is really freaking me so much..

And I send them more ticket everyday. I got no answer or anything.

Hope you guys can help me enlighten my mind. For this situation of mine.

Sincerely yours
Me..

Ps. I have to use dummy name for my safety reason. They can suspend my acc for this. I hope not..

Looks like your customer is scamming you and has withdrawn the payment.

Tell your customer you do not accept alertpay and require a normal bank SWIFT transfer payment. you need to increase your price by about $20 to cover the SWIFT fee.

Any one who does not have a bank account, you do not need as a customer. (unless you like to live dangerously) Alertpay is not even a bank, why did you accept this in the first place?

Who drew up your terms of contract?
Where is your customer? Cocain city Columbia? Coca Nostra street Siciclia? Dhersinsky square Moscow?

Were you born yesterday?

Here is what Alertpay say about themselves:

AlertPay, a privately owned and managed company founded in 2004, is a rapidly growing leader in online payments. The service provides individuals and businesses the ability to send and receive payments online without exposing their personal or financial information.
AlertPay is a Canadian Registered Corporation and a United States Registered Corporation and complies with the regulations of the OSFI (Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada), FINTRAC (Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada) and FinCEN (Financial Crimes Enforcement Network).
We fully integrate the principle of Know Your Customer (KYC) to ensure a safe and secure system for all our members yet we respect your privacy fully, and stand by our Privacy Policy to ensure your identity is secured with us.
All monies deposited with AlertPay are FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) and CDIC (Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation) pass-through insured in the U.S. and Canada, and are held with federally chartered and regulated banks.

Why is there no common sense in the world any more? In the UK it has been replaced by reams many feet thick of Health and Safety regulations which tell you how to blow your nose, scratch your arse etc. Funny, I have just watched the DVD of V for Vendetta, and it is all slowly cominig true in the UK (No not the mask bit, the gradual repression of the people and creation of the police state, the ever increasing power of the police with lessening accounability)

Assuming this was for a website that required a certain amount of . . . privacy (I thought that was a more delicate way to say it than writing PORN - ha ha), and doesn't want a full scale paper trail that a wire transfer would create, tell him that Western Union will do quite nicely.

this is the 3rd times i work with my client . and also the 1st time i accept that kind of payment. we always use WU . but she proposed just to use AP. since that its a huge amount of money, and her fund is in ap..

RPCAO,, she cant withdraw the fund that she send me. 1st thing is, the fund was transfer to my acc with no problem at all.. i just wait for my acc to be verify by ap,, to do my withdrawal...

i know its not a bank. its only a payment processor.

The issue is how come. When its time for me the withdrawal they have to hold my acc.

This what happen to my acc. When I made a withdrawal.

1- ON HOLD ACC. ( time of withdrawal - security purposed )
2- UNHOLD ACC.
3- ON HOLD MY Bank Withdrawal ( after they UNHOLD my acc.)
4- ON HOLD the Transfer of fund To my acc. (after they ask me what is my affiliation to my client ) --((We fully integrate the principle of Know Your Customer (KYC) to ensure a safe and secure system for all our members yet we respect your privacy fully, and stand by our Privacy Policy to ensure your identity is secured with us. ))-- they just blowup there terms. i

5- 0 balance

If they do have an issue to my client. I think they have to deal with that before it was transfer to my acc. As far as I know. Its still a legitimate fund by there user. No matter what

Funny, I heard that Western Union had more holes than a sieve in its system and that all anyone needed to claim your money was an old photo of anyone and a bus ticket.

Alex you can report them to the Canadian authorities, But it will take months to get your money.
I would tell your customer to trsnsfer the payment to a real bank and do a legitimate transaction. via SWIFT. the proper international transfer system.

Get your customer to complain to these jokers from her end as far as you are concerned she still owes you, send her a statement showing the invoice as unpaid.

there job is to carry your payment. not to put into there pocket. aww

It's easy to send money to your friends who are fugitives from justice that way. It's a little harder for someone to steal the payment from you without help from the payer. You need the unique money transfer number, the name of the sender, and the name of the recipient (plus some vaguely matching ID) in order to collect the money.

Definitely complain to your customer, to AlertPay, and to any and all authorities. If your customer isn't trying to rip you off, AlertPay will have to give the money to you or back to that customer sooner or later.

my client have no any intension of scamming me. And in good faith we are still working, problem is. The fund that she send to me was still on hold. So vice versa , she cannot even withdraw it from here account.

it was the alertpay making too many excuses ... from the time I made a withdrawal. Up to holding the transfer of the fund. So its not just me now. Also my client.

So this is a new scheme of scam. Holding funds,.. for no valid explanation . I send them almost 1 ticket everyday. No answer not just that, they even delete my ticket.

I'm glad your client is on your side in this. Both of you should definitely keep the pressure on AlertPay. CC each other on the messages sent to AlertPay and send each other copies of the responses. Make sure AlertPay knows the two of you are in full contact on this so that they can't try to play one of you against the other.

Pharaoh,

Reading this post and Alertpay makes me think of complaints against FXopen in another post for loss of trade money.

Do you know that FXopen uses, and even recommands, Alertpay because (from their own admission) Paypal would not accept them as a client??

I have wrote to FXopen about the trust worthiness of Alertpay since there have been various complaints written by users of Alertpay in various forum, but this has been ignored/unanswered.

I don't know what the relationship is (if any) between FXopen and Alertpay, but I do have second thoughts about going Live with FXopen since a reputable company like Paypal would reject them as a client. Strange!
