I Need some guidance

That's true!
And also we must try different brokers with different platforms.
In my case I was really happy with Oanda platform but when I tried the MT4 with Tradeview I realize that was the platform for me.
We must practice as much as we can;)

I've been looking for a good broker to open my account.
I've done my homework and I have studied some of the most popular brokers in the market and I think Tradeview Forex is very attractive.
They have great bank support and I've heard their order’s execution is excellent.
I've downloaded their demo and so far I'm opening my account with them.

Hi everybody, I'm kind of new on this forum and is really nice to see other people having the same questions as I do as a beginner. I am currently getting used to terminology and tools on MT4 which I still find a bit complicated. So I'd like to know if any of you know any alternative trading platform.

I'm currently trading for the very first time with a different platform form MT4, it's been great since you get to understand the market on a different way. Most of us have been trading since we were beginners with MT4 so a different charting happens to be excellent, the platform is named T-view platinum.

Hey Guys!!
I need a broker where I can download a demo that doesn't expire :hissyfit:
Does anyone know about a broker with that specification?

I'm just wondering, how many of you newbies are actually increasing your play money in the Demo modes ? Are you consistantly growing your account ? I think that it is a serious flaw to rely on EA to do your work for you. From my readings, brokers can defeat EA very easily. All they have to do is to have some kind of spikes when you are close to your Stop limit or exaggerate the spread or the current market price and your EA will me render useless.:hissyfit:

Hope this doesn't seem rude... but

Now I don't want to appear rude, Ritpip, but real money is involved here, isn't it?

C'mon, now friend.

I personally don't think that you would find any that are simpler than MT4 (maybe there is?). But if learning the lingo for your platform is daunting then I do not really think this will be a problem for you for very long.

I am sure you have lots to learn but you need a can do attitude. This is not easy. A market exists to separate you from your money and they are pros with strong hands.

So best of luck to you.

And then for joelpips:

Alpari demo of MT4 allows you to run forever if you trade once a month.

Practice Practice

Whichever platform you choose make sure you practice as if you are live trading, paying attention, watching for the exit, exiting, making sure there are no lingering limits or stops.

Sound obvious, but we used to trade in a futures trading group, and watched lots of beginning traders lose money just with clerical errors, wrong button, etc.

I've done it myself, it sucks when you want to go long, then press the red button. Dang! Then watch you were right, the mark goes up while you are short : - )

I autotrade now, simply because I can't maintain focus to click the mouse myself.

I agree

It is good that you are trying demo accounts of different broker’s and willing to download some more. This will really help you in how to trade this market.

your advise although simple is the best advise that I think there is.You know why?...because with this strategy you can have all the different views from other brokers. It's like watching something 3D style. All the views all at the same time, so you can easily disregard what's not really useful for you. Good Luck and Happy Trading!!!

i definietly agree with that. as a newbie, baby pips helped me a lot. it's a good guidline for newbies like me.
