I have purchased sPhantom based on its good performance up to the time of purchase. On reading the manual I was horrified to see that the initial stoploss had a default value of 250 pips! Such a massive stoploss is certain to do serious damage to an account sooner or later. I will be writing a review on sPhantom as soon as some current (not so good) trades are completed.

This is another reason to check the FPA's performance tests. Those wide SL's are very visible in the test.

It looks like the EA manually closes a lot sooner, but 250 is very wide for an emergency SL.

It would close well before it hits it's SL. If, by chance it moves 20-35 pips at a loss, a second identical trade opens. When that second trade closes at a profit, both trades close and together they make a small profit. Overall, it's been hitting it's TP 80% of the time. My % would have been higher if I would have correctly calculated my risk % sooner. Risk % will be the same as your first lot size Remember to have enough free margin for at least 2 trades to be open at one time. I have a US account with 1000 units (.10 lot size) and 50:1 leverage, so I have to be very careful! I put it at 25 risk % because it was trading so well, but couldn't afford the second trade to open and save a trade, so it took a small loss before I lowered it to 15%. Whoops! I've been trading since 7/8 and it's made 15% in less than a month! That's even with the trade that lost!

There is nothing silly when one discovers the truth and warn people. How long trade with this EA (signal service) Speaking of that, it is a great EA?

I purchased this EA, too. I was also shocked when I read about a SL of 250 pips. I kindly asked the sPhantom Team to tell me how I could change this SL or to give me the money back, because a SL of 250 is too risky for me.

A day later I got a customized EA. After replacing this and restarting of my MT4 it seems to work well. I can now adjust the SL to what I want.

Very good and quick service.

FPA, why is it that the FPA trades for SPhantom are only updating an hour or so after the actual trades have taken place? The Myfxbook site for SPhantom appears to be live - no problem.

This EA looks great. I will buy it soon... But they don't offer refund policy... How come?
