Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

I've read the reviews and ratings on RealtimeForex, based in
Geneva, and they seem a kosher setup but does anyone here
have some first-hand experience of them ?

Looking to make my first forays into trade, after learning the
basics with their demo account, and I don't really want to hand
over two-and-a-half grand to a total black hole.

Some genuine opinions would be helpful.
Thanks, guys.

I have experience trading live with them. I will try to be as succinct as possible. First you dont have to risk money to trade live with them. They have a monthly(with a yearly part to it as well) contest. Its very easy to win or to accumulate 1000 miles in a year and convert them to 1000 Euros.
Their staff was very professional and helpful, they didnt try to push on your throat all kind of promotional offers like you see with other brokers. The only thing that could be improved with them is the procedure for opening an account. Their procedures are a bit outdated and dont make full use of the internet but maybe they made the proccess easier since I opened I dont know for sure how it is nowadays. Also I tried their option to convert miles into Amazon gift cards. That worked out very well too. All I can say is they are a very good broker for starting up and also for experienced traders. Their platform is java based and its very easy to use and very fast though I dont use it for charting only for placing orders. Hope this review helps.
