Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

I've just finished browsing thru many of the broker's reviews here in FPA, and it's just so discouraging. I mean, are there any decent forex brokers at all on this planet?

I'm currently in the Philippines now, and that's already an additional challenge because there seem to be no legit forex brokers here. And opening an account in Singapore or Hong Kong is not an option because I don't want to need to buy a plane ticket everytime I need to fix a problem w the broker.

Any advice and recommendations at all guys?

PS: if u could give advice and recommendations on reputable brokers for US stocks, commodities, bonds, futures, gold, etc. Please do share as much as u can. Thanks!

None! LOL Sometimes it seems so. I keep a small account balance(at 1st anyway) and withdrawal profits as soon as realized(even 100 bucks).I am always on the guard for signs of my Broker going under(screwing around with my withdrawal requests are a big red flag among dozens of others). Good luck!

Nancy,

so Saxo hasn't give u any problems YET? Wow, that's just as reassuring as Geithner telling us we are out of the woods already!

also, correct me if im wrong, but I read somewhere that ur just starting out in Forex? well, I wish best of luck.

So far Saxo Bank (Singapore) hasn't given me problems yet.

Regards.

Need feedback on Avafx and other recommendations

Can anybody give me feedback on this broker called Avafx? They received high marks here in FPA, though I think it was only one or two reviews.

Guys, please let me know which is the best choice among the bunch of bad apples of forex brokers out there.

also please let me know which is the best choice for other securities like US equities, bonds, futures, options, commodities and gold. Im sick and tired of playing with demo accounts, and earning so much playing money! Need to open and trade with a real account immediately!

Good day and happy trading to all.

who is ur current broker, who were past, and ur most comprehensive feedback on them

Well, I was just responding to your question as to whom everyone might think is the best forex broker.

I was just trying to advise you that since you reside in the Philippines, why don't you try Saxo Bank (Singapore).

If anything goes wrong, you can see them there which I guess it's just a 2-hour flight from your residing country.

By the way, yes, I'm new to forex trading and thanks for your wishes.

Regards.
