Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Jack Schwager, in his book, "The New Market Wizards" (critically acclaimed author and trading strategy developer) says on page 479,

"....on the other hand, I have also come to realize that I do not like the trading aspect at all. I do not enjoy the emotionality of making intraday trading decisions. When I am losing, I am upset, and when I am on a hot streak, I am anxious because I know I can't keep it up. In short, it is not my style."

Schwager goes on to confess that he realized after writing the book that he was a tool builder, and an autotrader builder, and not a live trader. In our company, I build tools and auto-strategies. My partner, whose personality is much less emotionless, trades the live discretionary account for both of us.

So when Jeffie1 says, "Didn't square up with me", he hasn't realized like Schwager or his publishers had, that not all good tool builders are great traders. And not all great traders are good teachers or tool builders. There are people that are good at one, and horrible at the other....some who are barely tolerable at both simultaneously. I know what I'm good at, and trust others to help me in my weak areas.

I don't expect anyone to believe I'm a good tool builder on faith, which is why we post the signals in advance each week and let the tools speak for themselves:

Flux Webinar Histogram Forecasts - Back To The Future Trading

Hello Guys ( and ladies),

My name is Robert. I am new here and was compelled to chime in on the subject of Back To The Future Trading. I learned of them over a year ago and was intrigued and honestly a bit suspect of claims but decided to dive in after exploring the tools and setups. I realize it's a challenge to accept that there are cycles and patterns that repeat themselves in the markets but they in fact do just that! I have been an avid user of their tools and find myself inspired to tweak and create my own setups. We all know that there are no trading systems that work 100% of the time but for me it has been a boon to my trading success to enter the markets with an expectation of what may happen. As we have more experience as traders and combine our technical analysis with expected turns in the markets our trades become consistently profitable. I simply would not trade without their tools and am excited by new discoveries almost daily.

Ron and Michael (owners of Back to The Future Trading) have supported me with an unprecedented amount of training and support, far beyond anything warranted by the cost of their ingenious tools. They each have their own style and I have come to have the deepest respect for their talents as engineers, teachers, and inventors. As I had challenges with my trading ( as a newbie, making every newbie mistake possible) both Ron and Michael were available to clarify confusion or concerns and show me more insights on the use of the tools. I have not met anyone in this business devoted to the success of their clients and students to the degree that these two gentlemen are. I am grateful beyond words to them both for their support and pioneering spirit.

On a personal note: Back To The Future Trading has transformed my life as I am able to make a living trading futures from anywhere I can access the internet. It's provided me with freedom I have always wanted. We all know about the challenges involved with successful trading. I would encourage all of you who are willing to go beyond your preconceptions of the markets to dive into what Back To The Future has to offer. I think you'll find that the limits we experience are our own.

If any of you would like to see charts created with their software that got me into winning trades I would be happy to share a few samples.

Wishing you all much success,

Robert W.

How long have you been using thier software?

I have been using the Flux indicators for 3 months now and am clearly impressed with the results that I have attained so far. I will never go into any position without first looking at my Flux histograms and High Probablity Entries which are discussed in the training room. With the Flux indicators you get direction and magnitute of the market at specific times. When you combine this with your favorite market indicators you can catch market turning points and trend continuation much more consistantly. 2 days ago I was having computer issues and missed that days session of scalping. When my computer was back up and running I remembered that there was a high probablity entry occuring at 1:47pm in CL 7-14. That market was plumeting at 1:30 with an rsi of 18 and I waited. (normally I would jump in to a coutertrend postion with that low of an rsi) By 1:45 the market was slowing down and I place a buy stop order expecting the obviose new market turning point that was to stay in the long direction till 8:30pm. By 1:48 my order was filled, I bought 2 contacts and took profit at 1.5 points for a painless scalp on a 150 tick chart within 3 minutes of entering the trade. The market pulled back to a double bottom with rsi divergence and I reentered my position 10 minutes later with the same result. I could have done this several times but I had an appointment later that afternoon.
The customer service is top notch. My questions are always answered in the training room and off hours by email. Ron is an excellent mentor in the training room and has given me so much confidence and shares his knowlege. He is very patient and is a great teacher. I can tell that he loves what he does.
Thanks again BTTFT! You guys are top notch and I am lucky to have found such a trust worthy company to learn such a volitile market.

Let me share my experience with Back to the Future Trading. I purchased their Flux Professional Package back in February 2013. I vividly remember buying it and getting it installed on a Monday. On Wednesday of that same week I started getting severe abdomen pains. Ultimately I had to go to the doctor and long story short, I was eventually diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). A few weeks later when I was in the hospital and the whirl wind began to settle down a little bit, my thoughts went to the software I had just purchased. When I bought the software it was my understanding that there was a time limit on how long I had to take advantage of some of the training opportunities. It sickened me that I had just spent a chunk of money and did not even get a chance to get into it. I had my wife e-mail the people at Back to the Future Trading and explain the situation to them. I asked her to see if they would be willing to stop the clock on my training time frame so that it would not just run out while I was unable to take advantage of it. They promptly answered back with a very sincere and heartwarming message. They were more than willing to grant my request and also promised to keep me in their thoughts and prayers. When my wife read me their response it truly touched me and made me feel good. Fast forwarding, I have survived, the cancer is in remission, and I am doing very well at recovering.

Now that I have the energy, I am getting the chance to learn and use the software. I first learned of Back to the Future Trading thru another company called MtPredictor. I have owned and used MtPredictor software for many years. I learned that other MtPredictor customer's were also using Back to the Future Trading Flux tools and they said that the two systems complemented each other very well. MtPredictor has strengths in price and pattern and the Flux tools have strengths in time. So when I combine both tools (each engineered from a completely different perspective) and they both agree with each other, then I find those signals to be very powerful. I have been very happy with my purchase.

I will admit that Back to the Future Trading has a large number of tools (some of which I have yet to look at) and it can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating. There is a learning curve involved, but their support and willingness to help is outstanding. I have found that they are not just providing their customers with a cookie cutter trading system and saying "trade my system exactly like I do." Instead, they are providing tools, teaching the intent of the tools, and allowing the customer to apply it whatever way works best for them. It is true that you cannot just blindly trade every signal that the Flux Time Cycle Marker generates, but they do not teach that you should trade that way either. Like any other indicator or tool it must be used properly to generate good results.

I mentioned earlier that the strength of the Flux tools was time, but in order to be fair I must also say that they have some powerful price tools as well. I had just not focused on that part of it to start with because I owned MtPredictor. As I learn the Flux tools better I am starting to see good trading opportunities using just their tools. At the beginning of April of this year Back to the Future Trading held a training conference in Las Vegas. Because that is fairly close to my home I chose to attend and I am very glad that I did. First, I had the chance to meet the people in person who had been so kind to me and treated me so well (Michael, Ron, and Rachel). Second, I was introduced to 2 of their newest tools, the Flux Time Zones, and the Flux Daily Cycle Markers. I am loving both of these tools and see great promise for them. I am still learning them and have not used them with live money yet, but I will admit that is my fault. My energy levels are still very low and I do not get to dedicate as much time as I would like, hence it takes me longer to get things done.

In summary, I just wanted to state that I for one have been very happy with my purchase of the Flux tools from Back to the Future Trading. My experience with them shows me that they are good, honest, decent people who care a great deal about their customers. My trading has improved because of my association with them. Thank you Michael, Ron, and Rachel for everything you have done for me!
