Dear all,

Today I received an unsolicited email from Olofx.com informing me about their partner program. They are located in Belize, the server is located in Germany. Knowing that my email address is known to a (forex) scam organisation I can the alarm bells ringing.

Is anybody here investing with these guys? Are they for real?

There not mentioned on the IFSC website: http://www.ifsc.gov.bz/licensed-service-providers/list-j/

The most the IFSC is likely to do is occasionally kick a bad broker out of the country. In terms of "regulation", this provides virtually no protection to the investor.

Stick to brokers directly registered with regulators who like to levy penalties.

By "directly registered", I'm taking a jab at the UK FSC. A company directly registered with them is subject to real regulation. The problem is that a company "regulated" anywhere in the EU (like Cyprus - which only occasionally takes minor actions against bad brokers) gets "passported" to be listed with the FSC.

Never heard of these guys, I won't deal with a Belize regulated company with no real financial regulator.

Hello Irving Verzijl

I personally think "some protection is better than none" ;)

One or two warnings on my link look very interesting. ;)

Good luck
