Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

I saw an advert in early May 2014 by a company : OptionRally offering opportunity to invest in forex. I got intrigued as i have always wanted to do forex trade. I registered immediately, and the next day i got a call from the company’s agent who introduced herself as Jade Morgan, my account manager. Jade asked me if I knew anything about fores trading and I said no. She then assured me that the trade with her company was going to yield me income and profits. I asked her how much i could invest as minimum. Jade told me anything from 250 dollars, but suggested that if I did invest that amount it was so small I could not get personal couching and that with 500 dollars minimum I could get one. Due to security with issuing my bank Visa card, I told Jade to wait I would like to talk to my bank about putting funds into the card for this purpose. Meanwhile, Jade kept calling back to check with me.
Things came into shape and i got the money on a master card which Jade guided me through to invest on the OptionRally platform. I was happy when I saw that the money was there and that soon I would start making profits. Immediately I invested the money, Jade told me a broker would call me to couch me through. I started wondering why she, my account manager couldn’t do it as she promised. I became a little leary.
Suddenly, on the same day I noticed that my investment had gone down by 50 dollars. Immediately, I sent Jade an email to let Jade know that my 500 dollars had gone down by 50 dollars. The next day when I woke up to check, I found out that another 50 dollars had gone making it 100 dollars down from 500 dollars. I sent Jade another email, only to receive a reply that my money went to the robbots. I was completely confused as I did not know anything about this. Well, I took it in by frustration with the hope that the remaining 400 dollars would still serve the purpose.
The following day, someone called me up and introduced himself as Seth Julian from OptionRally ; julian said he was my broker and acoount manager and that he would help me do the business and couch me to success. I was happy. Julian did show me some things about investing, but to me it was half way. At the end of the day, i drew his attention to the fact that i invested 500 dollars, and that it was short by 100 dollars. Julian told me the robbots traded with my money and that he woould stop the robbot, i should continue to trade. I told him that his comapny should have told me about the robbot trading. He apologized by saying that I could not get the money back. The next day, Julian called me to say that I should invest 2000 dollars and that it was going to yield me double that amonut. At this point, I could do it because I was interested in seeing the one I had invested bring result first. Julian was not happy with this because, according to him, the 500 dollars I had invested was so little, i couldn’t make much and that if I could not make much that meant he too could not make much. I told him to just continue with the couching and that I would see to that later. Suddenly, the command in his speech changed so hard on me. This was where the couching stopped knowing that I was a complete ‘ newbie ‘ as they call it. Julian tried couching me only twice.
Because of this, I decided to withdraw my money from their platform. First, I placed a withdrawal for 100 dollars as they said I couldn’t get more than this. The withdrawal was put on pending. When i sent an email to the OptionRally support, they replied me that it would take 5-10 days to process. I got patient until I realized that it was taking almost a month. Up till today, I have not got the 100 dollars withdrawn.
The worst part of the whole process came when Seth Julian started talking to me so harsh in reply to my emails asking me to take my investment somewhere else, and that he couldn’t careless, i should never send him an email again and so on. Meanwhile, OptionRally kept trading with my money to finish.
From the little experience i had, i had made up to 620 dollars up from 400 dollars remaining. But all that money was consumed on trading on the OptionRally platform aithout my consent. Till today, no explanation has been given to me.

First, get screenshots of everything involving your account and your withdrawal. Anything from their website and emails about how long withdrawals will take would also be useful.

Second, contact your MasterCard's issuing bank. Clearly explain exactly what happened. Offer to provide all the evidence you have. Ask if a chargeback to recover some or all of your money is an option.

Third, you can file a complaint with econsumer.gov - Your site for cross-border complaints.

My name is Henry and I also have been trading the binaries with several brokers and with Optionrally as well. What you have described here is highly irregular according to my experience with them. It is as if you have agreed to some things like robot trading and then complaining about it as well the issue with trading study sessions with Optionrally broker. I too was offered to use the automatic trader by Optionrally, but I said no and that I want to be in full control of my funds and that is how it was. I was also offered the trading study sessions with a personal broker, but I said that I can learn from webinars and have no need in instructions. Now, I was not always as wise as recently and had my share of mistakes handling the issues with the brokers as my friends were telling me how happy they were with the broker advices and I also tried and lost in previous tries. It is actually after the third time around I deposited the funds that I began making some money. Actually very serious money. I learned from my own experience that companies like Optionrally are actually no more than a service provider. Platform provider for us to trade with all the extras that come as the token of a good will and if winning we thank them and if lose we complain. But if you really wanna make some money you better get down to the business by yourself and take an advantatge of Optionrally as a big enough company to make the money on the JUICE and not from us losing. Smaller companies cover themselves up placing excess trades with Optionrally as well as their platform is fas and reliable. Only the real small companies trade against you and their longevity is not long. Optionrally - on the other hand is a regulated company (being regulated means they are obiding international financial laws and also have paid more than 200K euros to obtain the license to trade while small companies can not afford that - read the CySec manifest). So, what I wanna say is that you may change yopur perspective of what you expect from a broker before making another trade or deposit but making your own decisions and then blaming the other for your own incompetancy is a mistake that will follow you always. Take it from me - I've done that, been there and now I am here telling you from my own experience.
The bottom line is that Optionrally is like any other broker but bigger and therefore more reliable platform and service wise. Like everywhere there too are few bad apples and the fact that despite the size of it the number of unsolved issues is relatively small by searching through the net - means that they are doing OK with themselves and their clientele

Henry, it looks like you've been busted for being a bad apple. Would you care to post the real truth about how this client can get the money owed to him?

and the fact that despite the size of it the number of unsolved issues is relatively small by searching through the net - means that they are doing OK with themselves and their clientele

Or that they are just a very small company with only a few clients.

Hey everyone.
I want to thank FPA for the stage to help resolving the issues of OptionRally customers.
My name is Mike and I am the head of the newly created OptionRally Resolution Center operating outside of the regular OptionRally Support Team capacities and is dedicated to bringing the resolution withing 24 hours from receiving the client details.
I will address the issue of Mr Welch later this week as my team is conducting a thorough investigation into the issue raised by FPA team

While we're hoping that the original poster who began the thread about 6 or so weeks back notices that you've joined the conversation, any word on your colleague, Henry Welch?

I am awaiting for you to send me your details on a PM here so I can have a resolution within 24 HRS

And we are awaiting your comments over your employee (maybe was it you?) who pretended to be a satisfied client

The funny part was when you said you will contact Mr. Welch later this week... this is lame, dude :)

Optionrally will be very happy if its client gave up on getting a reply from it and Henry will have to think of another way to create a new account to reply to you:)

Dear Mr Eddinger,

My investigation of a matter of Mr Welch is thorough and sincere and I will present here the answers no matter the implications of them in the true manner. However, I expect from a person as yourself and your statue to be more patient and keep the cheap rhetoric which is not constructive - aside.
If you want to know - There is a customer in OptionRally with the name Henry Welch. Whether he has really posted the reply I read too or the reply was posted by some overenthusiastic OptionRally employee eager to prove his stiupidity by doing so - that is what I am trying to find out. As part of that investigation I tried to establish a contact with Mr Welch and found out that he is not in London - his place of residence as registered. Please bear with me few more days and I will publish here all the findings and also the measures that will be taken in case there would be any
