I downloaded the author's robot.

I opened an account with the author's preferred broker, FXPro with $492. After it not opening up trades, he helped me realize the standard settings are optimized for a micro account with FXPro. I changed the settings, and it started losing trades and I stopped it at $457 loss. So I opened a secondary MICRO account and moved the money over to the account at 6:30a GMT on 12/11/14. By 11:00p the account was down to $250.

I emailed support to ask them for help. They told me that I had the opportunity to try it out with a demo account, and they don't offer refunds. That's a very interesting thing to start a conversation with.

Here was his final response (SIC):

"Because we have purchase agreement that you agreed that is why! The settings was safe for many month. Now looks like the forex price is moving different ways. Nothing to do about it only changing the settings for better. You agreed in a term of purchase that you will find a best settin sg as you need."

(I have a complete transcript.)

In other words, he shipped his product KNOWING that the product was unsafe for the broker he recommended. He's covering his tracks by saying, "It's YOUR fault for not testing it first for free - you could have done that." This is ridiculous! You CANNOT ship a product that isn't ready to roll out of the box at least a LITTLE safe. To take out 50% in 8 hours in standard settings on the recommended broker is a product that should be removed from the market and I should get my money back.

Attached is a screenshot of today's losses. Anyone have any ideas what to do?

Never ever load up an EA on a real money account until you've tested it. Even if it's a great EA, all it takes is a tiny error in the settings to turn it into an account killing robot.

You can try appealing to the payments processor. This may or may not get your money back. There's only one way to find out and that's to try.

If you go to youtube.com and search for Super Gold Trader EA you will discover that the "real account test" on the EA's website is actually a back-test. I am not super experienced with forex robots or gold trading robot's but from what I know, back-tests are not reliable. It need's to be atleast a demo forward-test for the results to be credible, I think.

I also pretty much wiped out a $500 demo account twice with the demo super gold trader EA although it was around the same time you lost money with the super gold trader EA I think. I thought it might have been the latency from my VPS to FxPro is why I lost on the demo.

When you consider this "price of EA is going up much higher soon" on the EA's website and that they are calling a back-test a real-account test I think... SCAM

Your post saved me from buying this EA MichahM and I hope my contribution to this thread helps many other people to probably not buy the Super Gold Trader EA.

I don't know if you can contact in regard to the super gold trader EA scam, some kind of government department of fair trading and consumer protection in your country or the country where the seller's of the super gold trader EA reside.

Would be a small win if you got your money back from the seller's of the Super Gold Trader EA though.

I sincerely do hope you get your money back MichahM

He just hit behind PayPal's policy that refuses to do it. I should have used a credit card.

Oh well. The author is a jerk and a scam artist. And I fell for it.

i was buy their EA in 1 week ago . their ea only loss . they are a SCAMER
I was open a disputes through Paypal . And ,they was suspended my lisence as they want punish me . as no refund . i must pay extra 99 $ if i want reactive my lisence .
i think i will lose for this dispute .because , i was buy and click "team and condition " .
SCAM...SCAM

Make certain to let Paypal know that your ability to use the product was suspended. You are now not getting what you paid for. This retaliation by Gold Trader may be enough to let you win the dispute.

Then revenge. Upload the EA somewhere and share it here :)
And anywhere else you can lol
