Investment!

Hahahaa, for a Lucifer Himself you sure are too worried :D I'm joking, actually I have the same doubt about the choice of a broker... although my investment will be tiny, and will remain tiny for a period of time... so that might be a good advice if you are a newbie-newbie! :-D

Hi all

Im new to trading and I've gotten a lot better now and ready to invest some more money for better profits. The thing that bugs me is the security of your investment. How do I know my investment of 50,000usd will be safe with a broker. Are there any regulations for it? What happens if one day a broker disappears? I'm awar of regulated brokers but my question is to what extent that regulation helps you getting your investment back if at all? Also how long does it take? Can someone explain the whole process? What if a broker is regulated in europe and he moves to asia taking all your money? What happens then?

Before making big investment it is necessary that trader should know the details of broker and also preview their past performance and reputation which will help the trader to invest their money and their investment will be safe and secure.

Investment depends on a trader's own capacity. If you have spare cash, then you can invest more but you should only do so if you can afford that particular amount to get loss and you don't get too much bother about that.

First ensure that your brokers is good and then invest, its better to have a good amount of investment, it will make your trades more manageable.

Talking of broker choice. I have never tried it before and I am not sure whether it is viable. But has anyone ever tried using multiple brokers to trade. Like say 2-3 different brokers? Considering what happened to Alpari, I think now some traders' are locked out of trading because their money is tied with the broker. As such would it be wise to diversify (by investing via different brokers?)? Thank you.

Some traders do use several brokers - both to reduce the risk of being wiped out if the broker is wiped out, and to take advantage of trading conditions favoring different styles.

For example: Imagine 2 well regulated brokers. One has excellent execution with minimal slippage, but has very bad swap rates. The other has noticeably higher slippage, but has some of the best swap rates. You could use the first broker for day trading (nearly always closing all positions before the daily rollover) and the second for swing trading (where a few pips on entry and exit won't make any significant difference.

First ensure that your brokers is good and then invest, its better to have a good amount of investment, it will make your trades more manageable.

There are a lot of secure brokers that are operating and serving traders from many years. Invest after investigation so that you won't face any worries after investment.

One thing that I may add, make sure that you invest on money where you can afford to lose, or else, you'll end up on the streets.

Right said, and when you are going to invest money, even the low deposits make sure that you are using a genuine broker, otherwise you will lose your money even before you start trading.
