Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Any feedback on Tickmill? Between Tickmill and IC Markets, I am planning on trading with them, but I know they are based in the Seychelles with a dubious licence. Anyone used them yet and are happy so far?

Tickmill are not simply starting brokers, which obviously most traders would stay way if they're one 'newbie' broker company. while i've been with them since they're still 'armada markets' and gain my trust despite of dubious license, but with their good support, knowledgeable support, not just typical 'answering machine' live chat support. not mention to competitive trading condition with their ecn account. Although their platform is perfect, email support sometimes really sucks. Prefer to contact them via Skype but only for general questions. latest CHF event may a proper test for any brokers as I cant find any report tickmill client facing difficulties, bit worry backthen and keep digging through internet and many forum, in case there's any odd issues about them related to chf volatility shocking event. most expert saying don't put all egg in one basket, this where I also put my investment by divesify among brokers, it appear they deserve attention to consider as chosen 'basket' due their quality. I would dare to say try them our if not happy then feel free get out, no harm all set and done.

Hi,

I have a question for Tickmill representative. Do you accept traders from Poland ? I could not find that country in the list in your "live account opening" page. And if you do not accept them, could you explain why ?

Thank you !

Thanks Stephane for request. We are constantly working on expanding our service coverage. We will open registration in Poland as soon as possible, but cannot promise any deadlines for now unfortunately.

Do you trade gold with them? Would like to know about slippage there.

Their ECN account comissions are quite competitive (4 bucks round turn), but cheap doesn't always mean quality. Don't satisfied with my current broker, heard a lot of good feedback about Tickmill but want to clarify things on their real (not demo) account.

Thanks in advance.

I do trade gold with them. first, related to slippage there's no way any brokers would wipe out these additional 'feature' completely. other thing slippage always related to spread given, when brokers start with low spread condition there's high chance it's slippage are not too far from initial spread. and the most important thing is time to place our entry, I think these all aspect are better to consider to encounter higher slippage upon entry.
like any others ECN brokers, Tickmill has a floating spread and for gold price, it's goes bit higher during Asian market session, and when it's came to London and US session collide these spread begin to shrink to 10 pips, sometimes it goes even lower.
it's all depend our trading strategies which time best to pun an entry. almost no slippage during asian session, but it will cost more additional spread often 12-13 pips. During US session, when market are at rush hour, spread are getting much lower ( fast change spread), and sometimes I've 2-5 slippage with gold price, to minimize such thing I use stop order and let my trade got hit by market price.
use cut and switch script during high impact news, and start first entry trade use stop order and the rest are taking care by the trade management script.

hello is there any one here who already opened a account , how it works with the withdrawal ?
