Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Has any others who checked this managed fx company for me. I'm afraid I have already invested and they have given me no reason to worry yet but after reading on this site there is a lot I have checked such as that they have proper risk parameters and commissions only on profits but others i did not.Min entry level is 5000 pounds.

I have been with them since 24th of December 2014. I have spoken to multiple employees on different numbers. They were quite adamant that I provide photo I'd and sign a lpoa which reassured me that they do things right.

However, when can one ever be sure it's not a ponzi scheme without staying with them for 5 to 10 years and withdrawing more than they put in?

Please have a look as soon as you get time and tell me what you think of them?.

Also if anyone has had dealings or knows anything about them please shed some light. I have only invested half what I can comfortably invest as I wanted to see if they deliver on their performance and don't disappear. But how long can you wait as some of the scams went on for several years!

I see multiple red flags on this one.

noeruscapital.com was created on 2014-11-11. It expires on 2015-11-11. Not exactly the long business history I'd like to see. Funny, the website has copyright from 2010-2015.

Despite this, they show claimed trading results from 2008-2014. Funny how newly created managed forex websites often seem to have very long (and completely unverified) trading histories. Also, it's very strange that they don't bother to show any results for 2015 yet.

One set of results, but with different numbers of trades per day is linked to larger initial investments.

They claim offices in Cyprus, London, and Hong Kong. I don't see any registration numbers for financial regulators.

They show this:

"Noerus Investments Ltd, trading as Noerus Capital. Company Reg Number HE302063"

but don't bother to mention what country this ties to. There is a Noerus Invstments Ltd. in Cyprus, but it has a different company registration number (C302063).

The brochure mentions depositing and withdrawing from a broker. The website appears to instruct you to wire money to Noerus.

Did you send your money to Noerus or to a broker? If a broker, which one? Can you check the trading statement directly with the broker? Is Noerus acting as your IB?

The website claims you can only withdraw ever 1-3 months, but the brochure claims you can deposit and withdraw at any time. Which is it?

My advice:

Contact the UK FSA, Cysec, and whoever runs financial regulation in Hong Kong. Ask all 3 of Noerus Capital or Noerus Investments is licensed in any way.

Attempt to make a withdrawal immediately. If you still have any confidence in them, just try to withdraw part of the money. This should be a quick and simple procedure costing you nothing but the wiring fees. If you meet any resistance, that's a huge red flag.

What to learn from this:

Always thoroughly investigate a company thoroughly before placing money with them.

You asked how can you be sure managed service is not a Ponzi? Simple - First, avoid pooled investments unless you are dealing with a major, name-brand regulated investment firm, not just a company with a website claiming good returns. Next, demand trading records straight from the broker, or at least trading records audited by a major accounting firm. Better still, YOU place YOUR money with a broker of YOUR choosing (which should be well-regulated and well-rated) and not via the manager's IB link. and then sign an LPOA with a manager who doesn't work for the broker. The manager could still run your account into the ground, but at least you'll have zero worries about getting tied up with a Ponzi scheme.

Thank you for your advice Pharoah. I have raised the question on the short and recent dates of website registration they have answered saying they have been trading mainly with major and bigger clients and wanted to open a new website to reach individual investors from low investment start ups.

they said to check in a couple of weeks and they will be extending their website to another few years.

I have already requested withdrawal of £1000 a month in the same phone conversation and he agreed straight away. In fact when i described all my concerns he suggested I make no more deposits and take a regular withdrawal amount. I agreed and suggest a £1000 a month to which he agreed straight away. Within 10 minutes off the phone email arrived from admin team with a regular withdrawal form and confirmation of me returning the form was prompt as well.

They do withdrawals once a month at the end of each month. When they do the transfer they email to advise to 3 working days to receive payment. So 1st week of May for the 1st one so now I am holding my breath. If there current returns continue there is enough in there to compound growth and for me to continue withdrawing. I plan to continue withdrawing to reduce my exposure to them and also to build confidence. I will update to advise others.

Many thanks for all your advise I will be pursuing other things you suggested in due course as well.

Since they claim to have been around, ask them where and when they got business licenses.

Also ask about what regulators they are registered with. They'll probably claim there's no need to be registered.

Then, call the UK FCA, Cysec, and Hong Kong. Ask them whether a company like this needs to be registered with a financial regulator.

Realize that if this turns out to be a Ponzi, anything you get above your initial investment could be taken away from you later to help pay those who lost when it collapsed.

Is there any more recent news on Noerus?

Since Imran didn't write back, I don't have any new info. If you want to check, contact Noeruscapital and aske the questions I suggested. Please post the answers you get here.

Have been wondering the same thing. A bit worried if they are taking in a lot of new investors would this be a Ponzi? I should soon decide will I give them the minimum investment or give it a miss.

Would be handy to get a trading statement from the broker just to clear some concerns + hear from other investors what they found out from this company.

These people contacted me straight to my mobile number so also wondering how they managed to get my number. I´ve conducted business only with reliable companies so did they get my number?

Ask them the questions I posted above about their business license, registrations, and regulations. If they aren't registered with a major financial regulator, who will you call if your money disappears?
