Discuss is for general discussions of a financial company or issues related to companies.

Info is for things like "Has anyone heard of Company X?" or "Is Company X legit or not?"

Compare is for things like "Which of these 2 (or more) companies is best?"

Searching is for things like "Help me pick a broker" or "What's the best VPS out there for trading?"

Problem is for reporting an issue with a company. Please don't just scream "CompanyX is a scam!" It is much more useful to say "I can't withdraw my money from Company X" or "Company Y is not honoring their refund guarantee" in the subject line.
Keep Problem discussions civil and lay out the facts of your case. Your goal should be to get your problem resolved or reported to the regulators, not to see how many insults you can put into the thread.

    More info coming soon.

Asking questions about a company
Dear sir,

Just as expected of you and another mr. with Yoda avatar, you two seem to be very clever and show a great amount of knowledge in this field, not to mention you always ask the right questions and be sure that you are always welcome. We know that you 'deal' with scam on every day basis that is why indeed it is hard to believe any company can finally be legit in such field.

Now, as to answer your question, we hire third party law offices that co-operate with us when it is required in a particular case of our client. Sadly, I am not willing to provide their names in here, however, based on a strong reason. I am sure especially you, like no one else, understand that this whole 'brokerage-scam' business is a multi-million dollar market and that's why going against all these people, at least in some cases, brings huge risks, even to one's life as nobody like to easily say farewell to the funds they were able to scam from the honest, hard-working people.

Nevertheless, if you wish so, we can schedule a phone call via private messages at a time most comfortable to you, where I am able to answer anything with more details.

Please remember that we do not take a single penny upfront and we have an agreement that we sign with the client initially that until we are able to successfully get him/her a refund we do not get anything out of it and there is nothing for us to gain otherwise.

I would also be grateful and would like to ask the moderator, that if everything is clear and does not rise up your further concern, would it be possible to move this thread to another category of the forum? As you understand it never looks good for a company like ours to figure under 'scam alert' threads even if we have answered everything and made it all transparent for you.

Yours sincerely,

Hello Marcin,

Before I decide what to do with this thread, I have some questions.

Do the lawyers you select charge up front fees? If so, do they compensate your or your company out of that money?

Hello sir,

Thank you for the quick reply.

Regarding your question, the lawyers we're working with do not charge upfront fees, and in the few cases when we had to proceed with a court case we paid the fees ourselves from the company's side as we believed in the success of the case and the full refund for the client. However, in most cases we've led thus far we were able to resolve the issue before reaching the court, based on our knowledge and by representing the clients in front of the banks, credit card companies and the scam brokerages.

Yours sincerely,

Lawyers that aren't charging up front fees could get a lot of clients if they would reveal themselves here at the FPA.

Dear Gasper,

Thanks for your message, please check your inbox :)

Please be aware that despite the fact that our company is growing, we work only off the commission on the successful refunds for our clients, therefor our resources are still limited and we're overloaded with cases.

I am really sorry about the little delay, everything explained in there and you can expect a progress on the case as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Marcin Iglicki

Sorry to be late coming to this thread. I would like to speak or write in favour of Phoenix Advisors Group.

I was also contacted by them out of the blue after I had had problems with trading companies, and other training companies in the USA, which have led to me having large credit card debts. I don't know how they got my name or phone number, but I am glad they did. They explained about their "no win no fee" and the requirement to pay them 20% if they did succeed in getting my funds returned from any companies or banks.

So far they have succeeded in getting money back from two companies, well one trading company and one bank through which I paid to a trading company. I do not wish to go into details here. Phoenix Advisors are also very understanding about receiving their 20% when it is a large amount. They agreed I could pay them 10% after I got the bank refund to one credit card, and waited another month before I could send them the remaining 10% for that job. They understand my position as I am a pensioner and half my pension goes to paying my credit cards because of my own stupidity or naivety, whatever you may call it.

They are still going to undertake more cases for me when I can get the necessary documents they require. I do trust them and am glad they came into my life when I needed them. Special thanks to Gregory and also Sebastian.

This company wants to know debit cards details
DATE / CURRENCY / AMOUNT /CARD PROVIDER / PAYMENT METHOD (credit card/debit card/wire transfer) / LAST 4 DIGITS OF CARD USED.
e.g.
1. 20.11.2014/ $5.000/ VISA/ DEBIT CARD/ #0990

So far I know, nobody must get the last 4 digits of the credit card. Why does this company wish to know it?
